10pcs Ceramic Standard Medimun Screw Base Socket GU10 Bulb Holders With Wire for Hot Halogen Bulb (GU10 10pcs)

Well made light bulb socket. I installed in outdoor light. Item is as described. Wires were a little short for my use but were easily spliced with additional wire and shrink tubing. These appear to be ceramic which may be a little brittle. Probably not as strong as vintage ceramic bases but should be plenty strong for normal use.

Had to replace bad sockets for my kitchen fan light fixture.These fit perfectly but I did have to unscrew the metal clips for it to fit.All went well.Very happy with purchase.

Before you just install these, it's important to check the two screws that hold the bracket to the ceramic to make sure they are tight. Every one of mine were loose. Don't tighten too tight, as the screw hold ceramic to metal, and the ceramic may break, but they at least need to be snug. None of them were. These appear to have the standard threaded hole in the bracket to fit an 1/8 IP-27 threaded pipe used in common table lamps, ceiling fixtures and finials. These also have a 1/8 inch hole in one side of the bracket, which is what I used. I got tired of the dim candelabra bulbs in my ceiling fans. I drilled out the rivets that held those old sockets to the ceiling fan, which were 1/8 inch. I removed this socket's bracket by removing the two screws that hold it together and used a 1/8 rivet to attach this socket's bracket to the ceiling fan just like the candelabra base was. I then reattached the ceramic socked to the bracket, with the two screws. I then wired all of these sockets to the ceiling fan controls exactly as they were wired with the old candelabra bases. I was then able to use three 100W LED bulbs in these sockets instead of the old candelabra bulbs which were probably only 25 watts equivalent. The difference is amazing, incredibly better daylight light, 300 watt equivalent instead of just 75 watt equivalent, and it's white light, so I can actually read and see colors as they truly are instead of the sick yellow look of bulbs that are less than 5000K temperature. I only gave it a 4-star ratting because one socket had a little chip out of the ceramic, which I didn't need because there are 10 of these and my three ceiling fans use three each. Also, all the screws were loose as I mentioned at the beginning.

Perfect replacement for my LED lights. I bought 4 nice Brass LED porch and garage lights 2 years ago. LED light are Junk and started flickering so I replaced the LED panels with these Ceramic outlets to use standard bulbs.

If you want to check which lights are on which switches, these are perfect - just use Wago connectors to hang some LED bulbs in these holders and then check which switch runs which circuit. Also great for temporary lighting. The holders are well made and durable and great value for money.

Great item great price but I ordered these regularly and every time they come at least one or two is broken. This time out of a pack of 10 sockets, 9 were broken. You need to start putting padding in with these items. I got replacement very easily but if you simply put some padding in the box, they wouldn’t break.

I am no electrician but my favourite lamp went bad and I saw that this was the part that went bad. I went to work and got the results that I wanted. It is working great now I wish the cord was longer but it's strong and and fits perfectly in the lamp and gives the same strength as the previous lamp.

These replacement light bulb sockets worked PERFECTLY to repair a light bridge for our bathroom that was older, wonderful, but needed repair! (We loved the fixture and it was irreplaceable). The plastic sockets were getting thin and brittle near the bulb due to age and heat. It was great getting ceramic sockets with screw-in slots for the wiring. I replaced four sockets and had the light bridge up and running in 30 minutes! EXTREMELY SATISFIED!
