My 5-year-old asked for a cleaning set on his birthday wishlist - he genuinely loves helping out with chores, so this was a perfect pick. As expected with Melissa & Doug, it’s a little more premium in price, but the build quality is noticeably better than average. It’s definitely more of a toy than something you'd use for actual cleaning, but it’s sturdy enough for enthusiastic pretend play. Watching him proudly get his kit out to “help” around the house is adorable - and a great way to build good habits early

Absolutely wonderful! I’d looked at some other similar plastic sets but I prefer wooden toys over plastic, much more durable and classic. Arrived very quickly, easy to open and ready to play with pretty quickly. Melissa and Doug toys never disappoint and this is no exception - very well made, just the right size for little hands and can tell it’s going to last a long time. The stand is brill, keeps them tidy and looks really nice stood up with everything hanging off it. Not been played with yet as it’s for Christmas but I know she’ll love it (and maybe she’ll stop trying to use our broom now!)

My son plays with this every single day since I have it to him when he was 13 months old. Its a lovely set, well made and of great quality. The hanger sometimes comes apart, but we just put the parts back together. It would be good if there were some mechanism to keep them from coming out, but this is a very minor detail. I am gifting this to a friend's daughter as well.

Grandson absolutely loved this set. Unfortunately the duster was faulty and broke within a few hours. Trying to speak with someone at Melissa and Doug to find out how we get a replacement is more or less impossible. Which is why only 3 stars. Amendment. Amazon have been very helpful in dealing with my query. Thank you Since writing this review Melissa and Doug have responded. So now give it an extra star

My daughter loves tidying up... putting things away and wiping surfaces, so I just had to get this despite the warning of 3 years and up. I was happy to find there are no small choking parts and after a day of practicing to use the spray bottle she mastered the skill. All the items are of good quality, even the cleaning checklist is plastic. She gets so excited to spray the leather couch and wipe it off.

This cleaning set was perfect for my grandson of 16 months. It is good quality and value for money - I would recommend it.

My 20 month old grandson is cleaning mad so this set was perfect for him. He loves the squirty bottle, the sponges and the carry tray. Mummy is quite jealous and I think I am going to have to find a grown up version for her! Lovely and sturdy and very tactile. 10/10

Excellent for a toddler that wants to help a lot. The spray bottle is functional and a new favourite is to spray and clean the windows with water. The water spray bottle can change the flow of water from a stream, a light spray or he turned off completely. Great little carry case very lightweight so not hard to carry for small hands. Toddler also has very curly hair and is very independent too. Likes to use the spray bottle with water in on hair to refresh the curls. As the bottle is the perfect size for small hands.

Je vous le recommande pour les enfants qui adorent imiter leur parents quand c'est le moment ménage. C'est un prix élevée mais ça dure vraiment dans le temps comparé à ceux en plastique complet

One use and broke immediately. The bottom inside that picks up pieces broke. It is made of plastic. Very cheaply made

I bought two of these for my two boys for Christmas last year (6 year old and 1 year old), and they both LOVE them. Whenever I am cleaning the house they race to get their equipment to join in. It's so cute to have them sweeping, mopping, or dusting with me, and it teaches them how to clean too! The neutral colors are fantastic since it was really hard to find something similar suitable for boys (all pinks for girls). The items themselves are very durable. The boys have been using them over the last 3 months and they are still going strong. My 6 year old even dipped his mop into a clean water bucket to do some "real" mopping and the mop head dried up perfectly after rinsing, wringing it out at the end and then standing it in the sun.
