Q: My mother wants a mans robe she is 81 and a little frail is this heavy?

Boy, that's a relative question. Using a bathroom scale it came in at about 3 lbs. But it feels on the heavy side compared to my last robe, but I like it. Get something that's about three pounds and see if she can handle it. Hope that helps. Eric Krackow

The robe does not shrink. The size runs small.

It’s big enough for a very small paperback (but the current paperback I’m reading is too big for the pocket). I don’t have an E reader, so I can’t tell you the answer to that. It’s a good robe, though .

Q: What color is 'quarry?' Light grey (hard to tell in photos)?

This bathrobe color "quarry" is a dark gray or a charcoal.
