These plates are positively fantastic! While we have yet to use them in our compost, they held up incredibly well this past weekend during our socially-distanced get together (masks on, held outside, at least 12 feet apart, etc). They were sturdy, didn't leak, and generally held up incredibly well. The natural design of the palm leaf is also a welcomed change from typical disposable plates. The forks and knives also worked well for cutting through both chicken breast and slices of cake. That said, if you do plan on using these plates in your compost, be sure to rinse them off first. Certain organic material is inappropriate for composting such as sugar and certain acidic fruit. We made sure everyone scrapped their plates into the trash and set up another receptacle for the plates themselves. Overall, these were great. Pricier than typical paper plates? Absolutely! And yet, still worth every penny.

I ordered these eco party plates for my child’s birthday party, and they were such a hit — with both guests and the planet! I’ll definitely be buying them again!

These plates were used to serve our Thanksgiving feast this year! Wanted to spend more time with family and friends. Less time washing dishes after the big dinner. They did not leak! We spent approximately forty five minutes to an hour eating off them. No issues with leakage at all! They were extremely sturdy and matched my table decor perfectly! The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars was because there was five to six plates I had to throw out. They had black mold in areas on them! Yuck.

Great quality and value. I love biodegradable, compostable and recyclables. These plates were beautiful for our outdoor wedding reception. I loved that they were sturdy, they held the weight of chicken wings and pizza, and the utensils didn’t have that “wood” taste. Highly recommend.

Bought these for a beach party - they are amazing. I even washed them and reused. utensils are cute and great quality. Highly recommend - so much better than paper or plastic plates!

Amazing products! I got these for our shower and I received many compliments on how cute they were and good quality. Definitely recommend! I will say though, eating off of wood forks is a little strange.... But they held up nicely. No issues at all

A lot of these came with discoloring that looked almost like mold. Not sure if it was, wasn't willing to find out. It wasn't like normal wood grain/texture. Black and, well weird looking. We did go through and found a few that looked alright and tried them. They were really cool, just super sketch with that black "tire mark" discoloration. Maybe I'll update with a picture later.

I have prefered to offer the palm leaf plates instead of the boring circular white classical ones. My guests have mentioned the difference because these plates look more stylish, and they are eco friendly. So it's a double win. The plate is strong and can hold several heavy servings, whether combining 4 ribs, cob of corn, coleslaw and vegetables or simply putting an oversized craft burger on it, no worries. I have about 50 extra in my kitchen at all times.
