Do you want to be a Muslim woman? You won't now.
This is the most depressing book I have ever read. It's an entire manifesto of women being evil because they're pretty. Don't show your face, because that means YOU WANT IT. BAD. Oh yeah, I showed you three inches of my hairy leg, what are you gonna do about it? Apparently make me feel like a dirty, bad girl. A nasty western infected slut. I would be so psychologically messed up if all my life I had men telling me I had to hide my face from them because they had no self control or personal standards. Thank GOD I was able to just grow up and not worry about stupid things like this. I'm all for modesty but telling a woman she HAS to cover her face? When the Prophet, pbuh, himself, said women could show their faces and hands. I don't like this book at all, I've never read such a messed up, backwards theory on women's modesty in my entire life. No Muslim man knows what it's like to wear hijab so the fact that there is some Shaikh that thinks women need to breathe behind polyester doesn't mean they should. This is a radical book that a lot of Muslim women would balk at, myself included.
