Precision parts
Very fun to build, everything fit very well, and engine ran as expected when finished. Like the nice book/instructions included.

Love this motor
I assembled the motor in a couple hours. Directions were on point, book on Porsche was great. You push a button, the motor fires up, shifts thru gears audibly, and each cylinder shows red lights simulating firing order. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about the Porsche flat six engine or just for fun.

The kit is great
The kit is great, but one piece was missing. Had to contact the manufacturer in order to get a replacement. Thus the rating was lowered, be aware!

most enjoyable model I've ever built
This model was challenging technically, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and no glue was required. Everything snapped or screwed together. Around 2.5 to 3 hours to assemble. Just double and triple check you have the correct cam parts in their correct locations and use the supplied alignment and timing tools. The instructions are contained within a nice book about the history of the Porsche engine. This would be a perfect project with a kid that is interested in how car engines work.

Bucket of trash
99% of the kit is fine, but the small number of instances where parts are not labeled, and where the instructions are inadequate, ruins it. Initially I was impressed by the booklet having so much extra information and style… but when it came time to disassemble to Step 5 from Step 20 I wish they put more effort into good pictures and labels.

Amazing!
It did not take long for grandson to assemble. I did not expect to hear engine sounds coming from it. So cool!

Boring
It looks decent, the book was interesting, but overall not even close to worth $194. If I hadn't already put it together, I'd be looking for a refund. It only took about 2 hours to assemble, and once done the pistons move super slowly. The model is just as plastic as all the others, only 290 pcs. The stand, the sounds, and the lights made it feel super cheap. For those looking to learn about engines, this way oversimplified it.Shouldve gone with a Lego kit for that price. Would've been way more fun and taken much longer to put together.
