Moldex 7010 Mold & Mildew Instant Stain Remover Trigger Sprayer, 32 oz

I'll happily join the chorus of satisfied Moldex users. I used the product on stubborn mold stains in the corners of my all-white shower. I'd previously thrown everything I could get my hands on at those moldy spots, including any number of bath cleaners, with and without bleach, abrasive cleaners like Bon Ami, Soft Scrub, and Comet, a number of different bleach pens, plus hours upon hours of scrub brushing and even tried a brass metal-tined brush, all to no avail. I found this on Amazon and decided to give it a shot. Two coats of this, and the mold had shockingly finally removed itself from the premises, no scrubbing required. Where everything else failed, this worked unbelievably well. It truly feels like my shower is cleaner than when it was brand new. It's been 4 months since I first used Moldex, and there hasn't been a trace of mold since. I should note that I left the product on much longer than the directions say to. Seeing as my shower is white tile with white grout, I wasn't too concerned. This stuff is an excellent grout cleaner too! I'd forgotten what truly white grout looked like! It's frankly become my all-in-one shower cleaner. After the initial cleaning/mold removing, I just spray a light coat over the entire shower anytime it starts to look a little dingy, and spray down a bright sparkling white shower five mins later. It shocks me how little effort I now spend to maintain a gleaming white shower compared with all of the time and money and effort that I used to give my shower, which never felt truly clean. Worth every penny! As others have noted, this product does have a very strong bleachy/chlorine-like odor. You'll realize how important it is to properly ventilate the first time you use it. I simply apply when I know I won't be back in the bathroom for a bit, open all the windows, and just head in for a quick rinse off and leave the area ventilated for a few more hours afterwards. I came back to this page today to buy two more bottles of this wonderful stuff, and it didn't feel right to not post my positive review. I hope sharing my experience helps in some way!

I don't know where to begin with this product--I just love it so much! I bought this because our master bathroom shower had this weird issue on the shower basin. It looked like black freckles at the top of the drain pan where water from hanging loofahs and shower caps drip. I tried scrubbing it mercilessly with both an old toothbrush and a heavy duty scrub brush, but it didn't even fade. I began to suspect some kind of mold or mildew, so I looked for well-reviewed products and thought to give this a whirl. Not really expecting miracles, I sprayed this stuff on the black dots in the shower, went downstairs for five minutes, and came back up. I actually screamed out loud when I reentered the bathroom... The dots were gone. The shower was like brand new. I honestly could not believe my eyes. I wish I had the forethought to take a photo of the before/after because it was so astonishing. With zero scrubbing or cleaning, the freckles were gone. When my husband came home from the store, I said, "Go look in our bathroom." After a few minutes of shuffling, I hear him shout, "WHAT DID YOU DO!" We were just so impressed. I have since used it on a spot of blackish mold in between the blocks in our garage wall that have bothered me for a while, and that vanished before my eyes in a lazy brown streak. Super fast-acting with excellent results. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone I know. Note: this stuff smells STRONG. When I sprayed it on our garage, I had both doors open on a breezy fall day, and it still smelled noticeably after an hour. Spray and leave or it will make you a little dizzy. Our bathroom has a fan, so the smell faded with ventilation, but be careful not to hurt yourself.

The best cleaner, most effective tile cleaner I’ve found. When using, turn on the fans and open the window, it’s a strong smell. Spray and some light scrubbing, let it sit, and rinse. Totally effective!

I honestly don’t know what the negative reviews are for as I had some very OLD stubborn stains and mildew around my shower that wouldn’t come out. No matter how hard I scrubbed and used several different products nothing worked including regular bleach by itself. It was beyond frustrating!! I tried this as was extremely shocked to how well it cleaned my entire shower!! I was like wow!! This is NOT a paid review neither am I receiving anything free!!!!! The people that is complaining about it bleaching their clothes should not be a shocked??!! Like why rub it on your clothes or get them near BLEACH a very strong one at that is pure common sense to me??!! The folks complaining about the smell like when has BLEACH products ever really smelled good like seriously lol ????!!! I didn’t have to scrub at all not once as I wish that I had took pictures so you could see for yourself the before and after pictures but i unfortunately didn’t! Do not believe all the negative reviews as some people just love to complain about any and everything!!! This stuff really works with absolutely no scrubbing! You may have to repeat it on stubborn spots but it still does it’s job very well with NO scrubbing!!! I would most definitely buy this product again!!!!

OMG... this is the best mold remover spray ever. I moved to a new apartment and the master bathroom was a nightmare. So gross with all that black mold and red water residue. Grout between tiles were so blackamd tiles turned into yellow. Shower booth metal frame was rusty and covered with scum. So I was looking for a mold removing spray and bump into this one and I just gave it a shot with ppl'd review. And now... Im so happy and cant stop looking at my whole new/clean/bright white looking shower booth & bath tub! It didnt work as I expected when I sprayed/scrubbed for the first time so I was little disappointed but I decided to give it a second chance. So I sprayed all over the mold, scum and red waree residue and left it like that about 5minutes. And... when I came back and scrubbed all over it with cleaning brush again... OMG... seriously... balck mold, residue, scum... all gone. Just optic white. Even tiles on the upper corner w/o mold or residue look old and yellow. Lol omg Im so happy and feel so clean with my clean bathroom!!! But I recommend u to do it really fast tho. I scrubbed,cleaned my bathroom with spray about 10min with fan on and my eyes were kinda burning and my face skin felt like burning/irritation little bit. So I had to get out of bathroom and take some fresh air. So if u need, wear gogles and mask ans do it fast. But the result will be awesome. I guarantee.

Used many different products over the years, including trying to scrub off the mildew/mold stains, rust stains, and calcium buildup with all those products. NO LUCK UNTIL THIS PRODUCT! WOW!!! Within 15 minutes of spraying, most all the years of yellow stains around the travertine stone grout/tiles in the bathroom - GONE! The tiny bit of rust stains around the sliding and door hinges of the showers - GONE! I did go back a second time the next day to get the remaining light yellow stains out. No work was involved other than spraying the product at the target spots. No rinse or scrubbing needed. Another note: I did use the product AFTER I used the Moldex Killer couple of days prior so not sure if that also made a difference in how easy it was to come off. One bad thing about the product was the intense chemical smell, but that was gone after some windows opened, fan turned on after a few hours. My other problem? I can't find this product anymore - not sure if related to the current coronavirus issue or if issues with manufacturer. Will have to wait to see if able to buy more in the near future.

Our bathtub and the caulk on the edges were getting pretty mildewy and moldy, so we decided to replace the caulk. We knew we had to ensure all the mold and mildew was gone before applying new caulk. I found the Moldex three step system online, decided to give it a shot. I bought all three steps (Mold Killer, Mold Stain Remover, Mold Sealant) and used them as directed. The mold killer was easy, just spray on and rinse off. Did it twice just in case. The stain remover says spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two, and rinse off. I sprayed it on, let it sit for a couple minutes, turned back around and the stains were nearly gone!! I rinsed it off, and sprayed it on again, just in case. It was very easy, very effective, doesn't have a powerful smell. I allowed the tub to dry, re-caulked it, let that dry for 24 hours or so and applied the sealant the next day. Because it comes in a 32oz bottle and doesn't take much to seal the entire bathtub, I plan on reapplying the sealant every two weeks or so to ensure it stays fresh. I'll see how that goes and review that in about six months.

Many people already know that you can use bleach on mold and mildew. It won't kill them but it does do a fantastic job of removing their stains. I bought this as the second step in Moldex's 3 part system (first you use the mold killer fungicide, then this cleaner, the you spray a sealant). I thought their mold killer did a great job.. this however doesn't do as good a job of removing the stains as just plain bleach. This has bleach in it but it doesn't remove the stain as good as a just plain bleach. It's supposed to have a thicker gel that stays in place but it's pretty liquid and just drips. I would buy the Moldex Mold Killer but just skip this product for a good cleaning with plain ol' bleach which is cheaper and more effective. This does clean somewhat and if you don't have much staining or mind spraying and scrubbing multiple times then this can work for you but save some money, time, and effort and just use bleach instead. Then follow up with the moldex sealant.
