It works!
My husband and I are older and have a 2 yr old border collie rescue. He is reactive to anything moving. We got the rope collar first but it was too hard to keep it up on the neck for me because of my bad shoulder. So we tried this and it works perfectly. And just like Caesar shows, the dog walks immediately without pulling just like advertised. No training needed. Our dog needs only a quick tug and release to let him know what not to do. No hurting my shoulders any more , and I don’t have to worry about my cane using husband being on the ground from the dog ‘going nuts’! We needed Ceasar talk saying ‘You are not being mean to your dog, you are just asking him to respect you and others’. Man, woman and dog all happily Walking now!

Do not waste your time and money
I apologize to all that shared their bad experiences with these collars: I really should have listened to you! Well, here is my negative experience: The sizing was totally wrong even though I carefully measured our dogs and used the sizing and information guide (which was almost impossible to find on Amazon). For reference, I ordered medium for our catahoula/whippet mix adult dog (the fit was okay but he could have worn small) and large for our lab/hound mix puppy (I don’t think even extra-large would properly fit her). Both collars were shopworn, dirty, covered in pet hair. And one collar had a significant flaw in the stitching, so the mesh lining was coming off. When I tried the medium collar on our catahoula, the flimsy plastic clips did NOT hold securely and opened with the slightest amount of pressure (from me), allowing the collar to slip right off our dog. Please do not waste your time, effort and money - these things are tremendously overpriced, unsafe and poorly made with cheapest materials. I immediately requested a return and refund, thank you Amazon.

Works, but needs better design
I got this for my large breed Dogo Argentino pup as she is growing quickly, is already powerful, and is pulling and jumping. She's only 45 lbs now and on her way to 80 - 100 lbs. A standard lead will not work well on walks at this time. There are methods to train using a standard lead and bating with treats/commands, but this would be less traumatic on the neck as standard leads slip down quickly. Anyway, the problem with this collar is one thing, it should have quick release fasteners. My dog is very hyper and getting her to stay still while getting it on is a real challenge. I can get it on, but then tensioning the top and bottom lever fasteners is very impractical. It takes me about 3 minutes just to get the darn think on, positioned and tensioned correctly before the walk. Also, she easily releases the fastener with one swipe of the paw. The lead is there for safety, but who wants to stop the walk to start fixing a leash? There must be either an infringement/patent or cost issue related to the quick release fasteners as this would be an easy fix. I plan on getting the fasteners myself and have someone sew them in securely. It will cost me a few bucks, but its worth eliminating the aggravation and wasting of time.

Dog collar for training
This is a great collar. Wish I had done this sooner. It keeps the leash up high where it belongs. Easy to put on and seems comfortable for my dog to wear. Great for training, especially working on walking and not pulling.i highly recommend this collaCesar! Worth the investment. Very well made.. Thank you cesar!

Good product
The quality is really good and it does help on walk it just still slips down their necks after a while and I have to push it back up. It does work and helps with the pulling they want to do. Reduces that.

This product does not work as advertised
I purchased the collar at $49.95 and ensured it was the correct size for my Terrier. I fitted it to him as per the instructions and even went online to be certain I was doing everything correctly. It had absolutely NO impact upon his desire to pull me. I like Cesar Milan and trust him within his area but this is a NO GO for me. I'm sure it may have worked for others but I would not spend money on this particular product. If you have a patient dog/puppy it could be okay but not for a hyper-spirited pup. I am now using alternative methods (harness and electronic beep/vibrate collar....I do NOT shock my dog ever). If you purchase, please follow all directions. We have to be kind to our best friends.

Calm and confident walks!
I am really grateful for this training tool. Thanks to this collar, I have clear, calm, and confident communication with my dogs on our walks now. Before, it was the complete opposite. The key is to be patient using this tool and trust the slip lead, because the best results will happen over time the more you practice with your pack. I can't recommend this collar enough!

Good idea, didn’t work for me
I like what this collar is meant to do - keep the lead high up on the dogs neck, controlling the head. But, in practice the slip rope never stays high enough. It ends up down under the strap, right on my dogs throat, choking him. Maybe it’s my doodle’s long neck? Also, why not use a clip buckle seen on most collars instead of the clamps that make it such a hassle to take on and off? It’s also very expensive. I wish I could return this because it just hasn’t worked for me and my dog. Traditional slip leads have been the better option.
