Ceramic Trim Coat Kit - Quick Plastic Trim Restorer - Guaranteed Restoration to Last Over 200 Washes – A Ceramic Coating, Not a Dressing

Really impressed with this product. I used this on my 2005 Land Rover Discovery 3, loads of faded plastic but Cerakote really transformed my faded plastics. It's been through so much rain very soon after application and it hasn't worn off. I would definitely recommend using Cerakote, it's really easy to apply.

Firstly, these wipes are very easy to use and really restore the black trim on my Mini Countryman to an almost new look. The wipes are a decent size and I used 5 for the whole car trim. The real test will be how long it lasts as I only applied the stuff 3 days ago and we've had no rain since application (yes, strange for Scotland). So time will tell if it lasts 20 washes - I'll be happy if it last 10 washes - about 12-14 weeks for me. Oh....... and make sure you wear gloves when using the product. I'd certainly buy again, if the results last a decent length of time

Over the years ive used numerous varieties of the sprays or gels of trim restorer. All of which need reapplying after each wash or streaks after it rains. I detail mine my wife's and sons car alot and was getting sick of reapplying them and the cost. Ive used G4 wirh much success on previous cars. However I thought id give these a go on my latest vehicle. My Mercedes grill is diamond cutouts and didnt think the G4 liquid would suffice for the job. So looked for alternative. These came up and I thought they would be good to wrap around a detailing brush head and get in the cutouts of the grill. I started off doing the rear fender on bottom of bumper and after a good clean with alcohol and dried with one simple pass of the wipe I was amazed how dark the plastic became. I did a 2nd pass but it didnt darken it further. So moved onto wing mirror housing. Again impressive results with one pass. The front grill and fog light grille which are diamond shapes took a bit more work to ensure getting in every little corner but using the brush with a wipe wrapped around it it just took a little bit of TLC and it was soon done. Ive used 5 wipes to do the reader fender, windmirror housings, front grilles and windscreen wiper area. Its really surprising hiw far 1 wioe will go. You do have to work relatively fast as the wipes can dry out quiet quickly. As with anything, the better the prep the better the results. My plastic looks brand new again. I cant comment on longevity yet but they've made the car look great, these little jobs always make cars look so much better. I wish I had taken before and after photos. The results really are that good. I'll either save the remaining wipes or use them on my wife or sons car. You wont be dissapointed if you get these. Great value, bit smelly (chemical smell) but worth it. Wear gloves and have towel or microfibre cloth ready if you get in paintwork etc

First things, first - This product lasts! I applied it over 2 months ago now and the once grey plastic is still a rich, dark black! The product is super easy to apply, just ensure, you strip any waxes, contaminants from the surface and wipe on making sure to use the provided gloves. Doing the full car, I used about half of the provided wipes, so they're very good value. On some surfaces, it can look a little streaky if you don't go over it enough, or maybe add a little more than necessary, so try to keep it uniform and overlap and you shouldn't have any issues. One thing for sure, I'll never go back to using sprays or gels ever again!

It's good, but 3 stars is for the conditions you need to apply it, dry, over16 degrees, out of direct sun, I mean come on this is the UK! I applied it, easy to use and did a great job, seems to be lasting. One word of warning be careful not to use it on your car badge I.e. Honda front badge, we found out that whilst it may look metal it was a foil sticker on plastic, which bubbled a lifted when it came into contact with this.

Excellent, Ive tried loads of ceramic trim coatings and nothing beats these wipes. Easy to apply and restore old faded plastics back to fresh, goes off fast. The finish lasts ages, still going strong 2 years after initial application.
