Enerzen Ceramic Plate Replacement for O-555 and O-777 Ozone Generators

Works as described. Easy Installation.

This has restored my ozone generator to its original effectiveness.

I had a trusty O-888, for many years before it finally died and I couldn't figure out the problem!? But the replacement plates for it had quite a bit more surface area, and I have to surmise that this one does not output as much ozone as the old one? Apparently they've quit selling the 888? How sad!

Good replacemnt, works as expected. What isn't obvious, is that this needs thermal paste for the heat sink. You can scrape off the existing past with a spatula or plastic card and reapply it to the back the new ceramic part, but if it is dry you will need to clean off the old paste from the heating and apply new paste. If you skip the paste you will burn this plate up prematurely. I would have given 5 stars had it come with new thermal paste.

Exact pin spacing, plate thickness. Removing the 8 case screws and applying fresh thermal paste were the most time consuming parts of the replacement process. Some reviews mentioned early failure, so IF this dies early, I'll revise my review. So far I'm very pleased. UPDATE 6 months later - the new plate has failed after about 50 hours of use. Very disappointed.

Update: The seller was good enough to offer me a 50% refund on the cost of new unit. They are clearly concerned about customer service. I can't ask for better than that. Thanks to them. Previous: The ozone generator itself is top notch, works great. But, after 4 years, it quit producing ozone. The company sells parts, so, no big. In the pics, I show the original plate (blue) and next to it the replacement (white). I gently removed the old plate. The other pic shows the block it mounts on, and residual heat sink compound. It was clearly making contact with the block. I gently inserted the new plate. It did NOT make contact with the block. This looked pretty "idiot proof", so I really didn't understand the problem. Swapped the original back in, verified that it sat in the holder, making contact with the block, no gap. Again put in the replacement, and saw a gap. Thinking it just wasn't seated right, I gently pushed it down to contact the block...and it snapped. It's a ceramic block, so it doesn't flex. Anyway, my point is that the plate you'll receive is different from what they show in their photo. And, apparently, there is a slight difference in physical dimensions. Not really worth your time to buy this, learn that it won't work, and then have to go to the hassle to return it.
