Good quality.
I bought the Winunite 16.4ft (5m) Car Door Edge Guards in black for my Jeep Wrangler JK, and so far I’m really happy with it. Before this, I made the mistake of buying a door edge guard from an auto parts store that had glue/adhesive on the inside. After a few months, it started to peel and rip off, which was frustrating. This one from Amazon has been a much better option. It doesn’t rely on glue, so it feels more secure and I’m hoping it will last a lot longer. The material seems like good quality, and it fits nicely along the door edges. Installation was simple, and it gives the Jeep a clean, finished look. It also matches the black trim really well and looks just like the pictures. Overall, a great upgrade and definitely worth it if you want something more durable than the adhesive type.

Nice product
Doesn't look bad and went on easily. Went around and followed the curves easily and the internal aluminum clips were able to mold to and grip the edges nicely.

Good protection and flexible, works well for custom automotive use
I used this door edge guard in a non-traditional way, as a protective barrier between the aluminum fuel tank and the metal bed floor on my truck. It works really well for preventing metal-to-metal contact and potential damage. The material is flexible but firm enough to stay in place, and it was easy to cut and install. It provides good coverage and adds a layer of protection where vibration or movement could cause wear over time. I removed one star only because the adhesive could be stronger for heavy-duty applications, but overall it does exactly what I needed it to do. Great value and versatile product.

I installed these last summer, as it was getting loose I tried to push it squeeze few times to hold but then several months later it just fell off unfortunately

Works good and helps protect your doors
Clip on door guards were easy to get on and seem to be a good product. Better than adhesive version. Gently tap with a mallet as you go for snug fit. After cutting use small pliers to remove the metal clip at the end because it might scratch the vehicle. Buying extra length allows you to redo any imperfections.

Good product with some application difficulty
In the end I rate it a good product, with some negative points. I do not know why they insisted you must remove the metal clip at either end before putting on the door edge. I could not remove the end clip as instructed. Cutting to length was also difficult and not possible with scissors or utility knife. It was easy to cut with tin snips and once cut, it was simple to remove the end clips. The strips pressed onto the door edge very smoothly with good retention. I do not think tapping the strips with a mallet was necessary, but I did it with a piece of 2x2 wood anyway. I rated a 4 since it appears to be a good product and it looked good on my new car, but difficulty cutting and removing the clips dropped it a notch. The strips stretch while putting on the car if you pull on it so this should be avoided or else you will need to cut the end again to shorten the strip.

Tale of two cars
Look: They are definitely glossy. I wish they had a matte finish. Install: Ease will vary based on the type of vehicle you have. I installed on a 2017 Chevy Equinox and it was super simple -- mainly pushed it on with my thumbs. But on a 2025 Honda Pilot, the door edge is thicker and it was a bit more complicated. I used a rubber mallet on both installs -- just a light tap up and down to fully seat the guards. In cold climates, ensure the guards are warm before install (i.e. leave them in sun or in a warm spot; not out in a cold garage) -- this will help w/ bendability, although they are quite flexible. I cut with wire cutters and then used them to pull out the metal spine pieces from the area that was cut. I don't believe regular scissors will work to cut these, nor will a box cutter. Product: One thing that was not clear to me from reading the Amzn product details or other reviews is that there is a metal "spine" in these guards. There are individual pieces through the entire length. Once you make the cut, you have to remove the metal pieces so they don't rust or scratch your vehicle when installed. The rest of the spine is then encased in the plastic material. Value: TBD but my initial take is that they are a very good value -- two cars (all four doors on each) for $16 worth of material.
