I’ve been using GOLDEN GRAIN Premium Basmati Rice for a few months now, and it has quickly become a must-have in my pantry. The extra long grains are exactly as advertised – they cook up beautifully long, fluffy, and separate without clumping. Highly disappointed with the purchase.. The grains are big but no basmati smell in the rice..

True to its claims: Excellent aroma and perfect extra-long grains.
I recently bought the 5kg pack of Golden Grain Premium Basmati, and it actually lives up to its "3X extra long grain" claim. When cooked, the grains elongate beautifully without breaking or turning mushy. They remain completely separate and non-sticky, which makes this rice absolutely perfect for making biryani or pulao. The aroma is rich and authentic—you can actually smell that classic basmati fragrance in the kitchen while it is boiling. The texture is light and fluffy, and it tastes fantastic even when paired with simple, everyday curries. It is getting harder to find genuine premium basmati that doesn't clump together, but the quality of this 5kg pack is completely worth the price. Highly recommended.

Original rice pack was torn
Product came with a carton box. But it's original pack was torn inside the carton box. So rice spilled out of pack and stored in carton box. Hence I am not sure about it's weight and quality.

Amazing Quality
Most retailers don't know about 1121 type of basmati. Being a Diabetic, 1121 is good cos it doesn't froth as much as other brands, infact it doesn't 99% of the time. Extremely low starch, and long grain. Overcook them, and still loose grains. Wonderful product. Thought of trying this unknown product, and I'll stick to this until they stop making them!! Keep it up.... already passed on to a few relatives, who happen to be new entrants to the 1121 typ5of basmati.
