Works perfect w/ LG C4 Oled tv
I purchased this to speed up the internet on my LG Oled. Worked right away without even having to adjust inputs. Plugged the Ethernet cable into one end and the other end to the LG usb input and it recognized and assigned it automatically. The internet is now over 3 times faster as opposed to plugging the Ethernet cable into the LG Ethernet port, and it connects much faster as well when first turning on the tv. Easy 5 star recommendation for my usage.

A close lightning strike took several ethernet devices out including the card in my computer. This is an easy option to get ethernet back. It works, provides 1Gig ethernet through USB 2.0. You will need Thunderbolt or USB C to go faster.

Works perfectly, barely gets warm. Definitely worth it, especially for laptops without an ethernet port (I'd rather have that but this gets the job done).

No disconnects
Bought it, plugged it into my PC, worked without a single issue.When it comes to these USB to ethernet adapters, it doesn't matter who makes the product; 90% of them all run the same chip. Specifically, the ASIS AX88179. I bought a different brand which had the base AX88179, and the darn thing had constant disconnects. Driver reinstalls and device manager settings changes did not fix it. Ultimately, I had to return it.This adapter runs the AX88179A, which is a newer revision of the chip. I've not had any disconnect issues so far. I'll dock one star for price, but honestly, I'd gladly pay a premium for a product that actually works 100% of the time.Edit: well it happened. After 1 year and 10 months, the adapter started dying. It didn't explode or do anything dramatic, but it just started developing sporadic connectivity problems. Like once every 1-2 days.On the other hand, my motherboard's internal ethernet controller has magically started working! I guess 2 years of Windows 11 updates, firmware updates, and BIOS updates finally made something click.So I'm gonna keep the 4 star rating. It did it's job. Just know that if you use it 24/7 like I did, it won't last forever.

Works with iPhone without external power!
This is one of the only Ethernet adapters I could find that actually works with an iPhone when connected to an Apple Lightning to USB Camera adapter. You can use it without external power; it will work directly from the iPhone. It gives about 300Mbps download and upload (due to Lightning limitations). On a PC or Mac, it gives the full 1Gbps. It is very rare to find an Ethernet adapter that works on iPhone without external power. Highly recommend for anyone who wants Ethernet on their iPhone or iPad.

Plug & Play on Windows 11
Windows 11 compatible. Plug & Play. Couldn't be easier to use. Just don't accidently plug it in to a usb 2.0 slot in the back of you computer like I did. Will not work then. Doubled the speed I was getting from WiFi. Just as good as the RJ45 slot on my motherboard (before lightning ran in on it). Wish I had purchased one sooner.
