These seem to be manufactured very well. I checked all of them on the best scale I have, and they all tested out accurately. Overall nice and convenient set. The only downside is they smell terrible out of the box. I cleaned them all with alcohol and then let them sit in a sunny window for a few days and the smell finally dissipated.

When you need to calibrate a scale - you need a reliable weight. Buy these.

The weights seem accurate. I was pleased to see my scale very accurate; only being a gram off at the 500 gram wieght. Like most reviews the box was a bit cracked. The box is too thin for the weight so it breaks easily on any bump. Otherwise this would be 5 stars.

Works as described

The weight set arrived in poor condition. The plastic box had opened up (but not broken) inside the packaging, and all the weights were spilled out. The biggest problem, though, was that the top knob of the 500g weight had somehow unscrewed itself during shipping, and the two odd-size calibration ball bearings inside the weight were now rolling around loose inside the shipping box. How was that even possible, when it required 3-3/4 rotations of the knob to unscrew it completely? If that knob was tight to begin with, there's no way it could have unscrewed itself during shipping. Obviously, the knob had never been fully tightened. My main concern then was if those two calibration ball bearings were all that had been inside of the 500g weight. Apparently they were, because, using a highly accurate laboratory scale, I verified the accuracy of the 500g weight. Would I consider ordering the same weight set again? Actually yes! Why? Because those weights are extremely accurate, and what are the chances of the same problem occurring again in a subsequent order? Probably zero!!!

This set came quicker than expected. I wasnt sure why there were tongs, but I needed them to get the smaller wights that had fallen out. Container box and weights weer all better quality than I had expected for this price! I am actually using these for weights on my Cuckoo clock lol. We had gotten an old clock a long time ago that did not come with any weights o pendulum. We have used numerous items over the years as weights like antique perfume bottles, metal figurines and the like. I didnt realize actual pine cone weights were so expensive so I got these weights instead. There are enough weights in here that I can mix. and match to get what I need. Yes that is a pocket watch as the pendulum and still a figurine on the one weight. So I am not using these for calibration, but if I need to I know where they are at. :)

I calibrated my scale with these, as well as tested the accuracy of them, & they were as labeled. I would buy these again.

Great set

Great size. Well packaged in a blue plastic case. We used the weights to calibrate our food processor that has a scale function. These weights confirmed my wife's doubts about the scales readings. Excellent product. Nice to have to check on kitchen scales. Note: there are way too small to be used on body scales.
