I am very impressed with this 6 lb bag of Oregon hazelnuts. I grew up eating Turkish hazelnuts, so I have high standards, but these are very much comparable and incredibly tasty! My batch arrived fresh with a wonderful, natural, buttery flavor. They are raw, unsalted, and easy to crack. Cracking them yourself does get a bit messy, but the quality makes the cleanup entirely worth it. The resealable bag is also a huge plus for keeping a large batch fresh. Highly recommended!

First impression on the 6-lb bag that I just received after ordering it two days ago. The nuts are large, clean, and healthy looking. There were only 2 cracked ones, and only 8 empty half shells. There wasn't any detritus or grit in the bag. I weighed the contents and the result was a generous 6.65 lb or an 11% bonus. I tasted the two cracked ones, and they were just as scrumptious as the pre-shelled ones available in the bulk-bin aisle of the local Winco. The best-buy date is 11 months out which is fine. These are for a female American red squirrel who commandeered my entire property last Spring and who drove out all the grey squirrels; please search on American red squirrel to see how cute and ferocious and acrobatic they are. I'm not prone to going overboard on reviews but I would give 10 stars on this purchase if I could and will definitely order again. Kudos to this American business.

Delivered in a sealed bag, all the nuts a re whole and fresh, high quality. A good value for the money. My squirrels love them

Fresh. There are/were a couple that were rancid. I would say less than 1%. Saying it just so you’re aware that there will be some. Some crack easy and some don’t. Overall, happy with the product. I wish it had a harvest date on the package.

Delicious. So buttery and sweet. I’ve forgotten how good these can taste! Forget the store-bought ones, and try these. The squirrels and the chipmunks agree too. Even had a Blue Jay sneak one of these today. Not an old or rancid hazelnut in the bunch, and we are over a pound into the bag already. Will definitely order again. 🐿️🌰

I have looked far and wide to find Hazelnuts that are fresh and taste good. I've bought them at the grocery store in shell and they are old and shriveled and mostly bad. I've bough shelled nuts in a bag and in bulk bins and they just taste old and rancid most of the time, so frustrating! So I finally thought that Amazon might do it. Oh how happy I am that I did. These nuts are just a dream! So fresh and tasty, I've found my gold mine. Absolutely buy them, so good.
