I am very high-risk for respiratory viruses and allergies, so while I rely on N95/KN95s for close quarters, I needed a reliable "incidental use" mask for general errands. I bought these particular masks a little more than a year into the pandemic to keep in my car for when I'm around the general population in more open settings -- especially since many people still don't cover their mouths when coughing. These became my go-to for several reasons. First, I have a giant melon of a head, and a lot of standard masks don't fit comfortably without pulling or biting, but these fit great. They are also lightweight, significantly more breathable, and run a little cooler than other standard surgical masks I have in my collection. I have gone through many of them and found very few defects or "bad" masks in the batch. They also don't have that funky acrid smell that seems to pervade the mask supply. Finally, they have a textured look, almost like black denim, which looks much better than the standard blue or white, and matches most of my wardrobe. I highly recommend these if you need a comfortable, breathable mask that actually fits a larger head. They are not expensive, so they make a great choice for a travel stash. Plus, they come in any color you want -- as long as it's black.

After years of use since 2021, I think it's time for a review. These masks have become part of my daily, not because of the fear of a disease but because of making sure a relative, a transplant patient who lives with me, doesn't get sick because of something I encounter at the work place. My relative is immuno compromised, which means I can't leave o return without a mask on and often can't interact with said relative without strict sanitation routines. Other masks have proven either cheaply made or too expensive for my budget. But not these. They're affordable and have served their purpose with as much passion as the care I give. They have protected my relative from unseen pathogens I didn't know I might bring in. They've protected them from risky hospital visits better than the hospital masks they were previously provided with. It has been a 13 year struggle being both part of the labor force and one of 3 primary care givers. Pre, during, and post lockdown calendars and none of the masks I've tried before that were "affordable" have served me as good as these have. I've worked at different job locations in all that time where I was directly involved with the general public and all their good and bad sanitary habits. I have gotten sick with other brands, but not with these. Me not getting sick means my relative successfully avoids the ICU unit and gets to celebrate the holidays with family and friends. And prior to subscription to this product, those guy wretching trips to the hospital were often and dreadful. Spending most of the year in one is not enjoyable to anyone. Thankfully, it's the small things that make big changes. My relative has received the transplants necessary to a path to better means of living and I wore these through out all of their recovery periods and he has recovered noticably faster when we all wear these masks as opposed to when they ran out and we had to use something different. They're much healthier now than they have been in years. True, many elements and participants along with the strict routines contributed to his swift change in health over the years. But I simply can't ignore how much easier things were when we used these masks over others.

Good price for 100 masks. Reasonably well made and worth the price.

The masks do a fine job. Granted, they don't fit very close to the outermost corners of the mouth as they are not as fitted as KN95 masks, but they are comfortable, not too bulky, breathable, and I believe do what they're intended to do. I would recommend purchasing.

I wanted black masks, ✅ I wanted the masks to fit 👎🏽. I have to tie knots is the ear strings to make them fit. Oh well. I will persevere.🙂
