I splurged on one of these several years ago and fell in love! So much fun. High quality meant one perfect button after another. Great for professional use but I ended up just playing. Experimenting. Anyone who visited - I had them try it and they were hooked. I set it up at events and let folks go wild. No fancy designs necessary. Just a stack of magazines, fabric, thrift store coffee table books and a few circle templates (I DIY'd from cardboard) and - hours of fun. So then the dumb Thomas Fire burned down our house. Losing my button maker was probably third - just after family photos and sea glass collection. Haha. It's just things! So many people lost so much and the struggle continues for many. Feel like our whole town is suffering from collective PTSD. Ok whoa! Did not mean for this to take such a dark turn. Upshot is - just buy the darn button machine. You won't regret it! Life's too short for low quality gear.
