Excellent quality. Was easy to install on my deck. Lights are bright. Connects up easily and the value of these is outstanding! I have them on my deck year round here in the winter and they work perfectly! The Remote Control allows you to change colors for the different occasions. Works year round here in Minnesota!

I purchased these rope lights specifically for our camping trips, and I absolutely love them. They provide plenty of light to brighten up our campsite while also adding a fun atmosphere with all the different color combinations and lighting patterns. One of my favorite features is the ability to change the colors to match holidays or themes, which makes decorating the campsite really enjoyable and unique. It’s a small touch, but it adds a lot of personality and makes the space feel more inviting in the evenings. They’re also very easy to use. The lights roll out quickly, are just as easy to roll back up, and don’t take up much space when stored. This makes them ideal for camping, where space and convenience really matter. I got this color changing rope light for my front porch to light it up at night. As you can see in my pictures it lights up nice and bright. However, it’s a little too bright. So here are the pros and cons. Pro: it has many color options, with five different levels of brightness and it remembers what color you last picked every time it comes back on. Con: it does not remember what level of brightness you picked so it defaults back to the brightest setting every time it comes back on. Pro: lights are inside a plastic tube, so it protects the wiring. Con: it arrives in a coiled circle and getting the plastic tubing to relax is not easy. I would recommend setting it the sun for a while to heat up the plastic. I put mine up (in 50*) and let it just relax over time. It did take a long time but as you can see it did finally relax after our temperatures warmed up. “White” setting Cons: there is no soft/warm white and the white setting on the set is more like bluish-purple. I tried to get my pictures as close as I could but it doesn’t do it justice on how blue they are. They are definitely not white! The yellow setting is yellow and not warm white. All in all it’s a nice set but the lack of warm white or even a cool white along with it not remembering it’s brightness level might have been a deal breaker for me.

I installed these around the entire upper perimeter of my Cottage and have them set up so that I am able to control them with the remote control through one of my kitchen windows. During daylight hours you cannot even see that anything is installed. During nighttime hours, they Look Fantastic. I've received many compliments on my Lighted Cottage.

I live these lights. I decorated my back porch with them. I love that I can change the colors and use that as seasonal decorations.

Twice, these lights quit working and only displayed purple, which flashed, twinkled, etc…

I keep these out year-round and I have to replace them annually. They don't last more than a year. But they are outside in the elements all year long and they look great and I love the remote and timer function, although you have to be really close for the remote to work.

Purchased them for extra evening lighting on our enclosed porch at the cabin. Setup was very simple with the added hooks, but we definitely could have used a few more. Was a 2 person job, but could have been a one person job easily. Installation and setup was a breeze, simple on/off switches once installed and instructions were very clear. The remote is a nice added bonus. We have the solar panel cord fished outside to catch light. It works so great I purchased a second string for extra added brightness as it’s a very large porch.

I used this to put around the pool (between path and lawn) and it looks amazing!! Very easy to install and good quality. I have to admit, there are too many buttons and I have no idea how to use them all, but that's ok because all the setting look nice at night. I have noticed, however, that you have to point the remote directly at the box and you can't be too far to use it but that's ok with me. I set it and leave it. Worth the purchase.

Works well, but stiff and fragile plastic casing. Image is a bit misleading. Definitely for outdoor use only, but I can make it work for the price point.
