This is a knockoff product. Chinese junk.
I'm replacing this ASAP. This is simply a cheap, Chinese made knockoff product. Rust on it right out of the box. Action is rough (feels like metal on metal, not bearings), and bits don't spin true (noticable wobble). Can't believe they stamped "Rohm" on it. Seems very shady.

Nice part, especially for the price.
This drill chuck was a direct replacement for my DeWalt DCD 780. It fits nice and feels like a quality tool. The diameter is a little bit smaller than the original Dewalt chuck but I think that that is a bonus as the drill now fits into a little bit tighter spot without the chuck rubbing.

I didn't get what is pictured.
I was hoping to get what is pictured which is a Röhm chuck but what they sent was a different brand which is much longer and heavier, I would have given it 5 stars if the chuck was a Röhm.

Grate chuck for the money
Used on my old Milwaukee M18 hamer drill for a replacement chuck. Been using it for the last three months now and have to say its better than the one that milwaukee uses on there drills. Will buy again.

Made my Milwaulkee usable again
Made my Milwaulkee usable again. When the chuck broke on my hammer drill, I balked at buying the OEM replacement for $75. I could find a whole used drill for that much money, so the drill sat on a shelf for many years before I found this on Amazon. I ordered it and not only does it fit perfect but I find it tougher than the plastic covered original. I've been using it for a few months now and it's great. I highly recommend it.P. S. Don't forget to order the 1/4-20 left hand screw that goes down the center.

Chuck works
This chuck fits most drills. I replaced a broken Jacobs chuck. This is less expensive and a little different but seem to work very well.

CHEAP QUALITY-BROKE FIRST TIME
I purchased this Keyless Drill Chuck to reduce the need to use a key to lock and unlock my other drill chuck every time I used it. I attached this chuck to my drill and started drilling into a concrete wall with a Milwaukee concrete bit attached. Within seconds the rear section of the chuck simply disengaged from the rest of the chuck. I removed the bit and tried to reattach it but if I applied minimal pressure it would come off with the turn of my hand. I removed the keyless drill chuck and reverted to my old 'chuck and key' combination.

Good chuck for less
Many videos suggest that you put an Allen wrench and the Chuck and smack it with the hammer. I would not suggest this as it can damage the gearbox. Instead use channel locks to grip it and firmly loosen it after the screw is removed.
