The media could not be loaded.  I'm a photographer and when I cover events using multiple flash units I use a lot of AA rechargeable batteries. To avoid long recycle times with the flash I swap them out well before this starts to happen. I may carry 20 or more batteries for an all day shoot using the flash packs. Recharging the batteries was a nightmare. I had five chargers on the go to ensure I had enough fully charged batteries ready.Now with this 16 bay charger it is much easier to manage the recharging workflow. I can charge anywhere from 1 to 16 cells with this unit and feel confident that the cells will be fully charged and charged in a manner which does not contribute to their early demise - as often the case with other chargers which may charge at too high a current or not fully turn off when the cell full capacity is reached.This is a nicely mage unit and not overly complicated with all sorts of information shown on the LCD screen which are only needed by battery scientists when charging.This unit is just simplicity in use and understanding the exact state of charge. For a good battery being recharged the 4 segment display shows the state of charge from 25% to 100% in 4 increments - as is usual with most of these displays.If a battery is faulty, or an non rechargeable battery is accidentally inserted then the smart electronics within the unit prevent charging voltage being applied and thus causing possible damage to the cell or the charger.It can also recover cells which have been allowed to discharge below the recommended cut off voltage by applying a smaller conditioning voltage until the cell starts to behave like a non over discharged cell.As this is 16 slots it uses a sequential pulse charging system so that excessive current is not drawn from the power supply which would require a much bigger unit and result in lots more heat generated. The microprocessor in this unit continuously monitors the charging voltage and adjusts this to maintain a safe charging current if about 500mA for AA cells and 250mA for AAA cells. Keeping the current to this level prevents overheating and premature failure of the cells. Should a cell begin to get hot during the charging process then the unit has thermistors which sense this rise in temperature and when they see a 50degree C condition begin to throttle back the charging current to lower the heating effect of this charging current.Additionally should a cell be taking an unusually long time to charge due to its age, for example, then after 8 hours of charging being applied to this cell, again the unit terminates the charge on that cell.In addition to the AA/AAA slots there are two 9v PP3 battery bays which can be used to charge NI-MH, NI-CD or lithium ion type cells. The unit will automatically apply the correct charging voltage to the connected cell. The PP3 cell slots are not pulse charged but are charged through the usual type voltage regulator type circuit. The charge voltage is measured and indicated by this unit.It is 12 volt input and this is provided by a supplied AC/DC wall adaptor power supply but you could use a 12v vehicle system if you have a 5.5 x 2.1mm cigar lighter plug with centre positive connection.My review video shows how to use the unit and some of the design features of this unit which make it a very worthwhile investment if you have the need to recharge many cells, even if they are mixed AA or AAA Ni_Mh or Ni-CD tyoe.

This is a fantastic charging unit, you can charge batteries of different strengths ( sorry can’t think of technical term ) I.e. 1000,800 you get the idea. If you mixed these on a conventional 4 charger, the unit would not accept them for charging. I particularly like it shows you on a good visible screen how each battery is charging. So for one that didn’t realise rechargeable batteries came in different size strengths I love it, and I’m so pleased with my purchase. Oh yes it takes size AA and AAA and has a slot for two square size batteries, and it comes with a fitted 3 pin plug as well as an extra 2 pin plug adapter should you want this.I’ve filled it three times so far and as I say I can’t fault it.Oh yes before I forget you can charge just one battery or fill it with any mix i.e.AA and AAA the choice is yours

Great to see levels for each battery - it's the closest thing to having an ETA.Pity that the instructions are poorly written, and that the different flashing modes are not explained thoroughly. For example: after checking the user guide, I still have no clue what the signal means for bay 14 (see video), nor what '0 voltage repair, full of trickle current' means.I gave a 4 for durability because the build quality isn't confidence-inspiring. Otherwise, it's doing an admirable job!

I never thought I'd be so enthusiastic in writing a review for a battery charger.I purchased this charger for the number of batteries it can charge at once. NEVER did I expect it to be so amazing.As a photographer I use lots of batteries, some just fail to charge and I used to bin them (in the proper recycling bin), but this little gem seems to sit on them showing no charge, but some how its repaired at least SIX batteries that my old charger rejected as faulty! So I've tested 10 failed batteries and its brought all of them back to life again.I'm more than happy, this is amazing.Woukd recommend to anyone that uses lots of batteries.

This has really made my life easier. It is able to show me that charge status of my batteries. I have 24 AA and 8 AAA Batteries for use in my External Speedlites and remote Shutter Triggers. The AA Batteries are in 4 groups (labelled) for each Speedlite so that I have batteries that have about the same energy in each group. With this charger, I am able to see the energy status of each group ensuring I only charge batteries when it's necessary.My older charger, (now my backup charger), I charged batteries even when they had enough energy simply because I could not tell approximately how much energy they held. The other problem with many of my previous chargers was that I was forced to charge batteries in twos. With this Smart charger, I can even charge 1 battery.I have Eneloop, EBL Batteries and Duracell. The Eneloop are precharged and even after several years of not being used, they claim to hold 70% charge. When I popped some Panasonic Eneloop Batteries, the charge indicator on this Charger showed 3 bars immediately and after a short while, it went to the full 4 bar charge level. The other batteries stated they only held a nominal charge and should be charged before use. These started at 1 bar and took some time to charge to full. So it seems to have some acceptable level of accuracy in detecting battery's energy level.Being able to charge 16 batteries at once is time-saving compared to having to charge batteries in turn 4 or 8 at a time. It has made managing an army of 32 AA/ AAA batteries not only easier but also elegant.

The media could not be loaded.  Tenía puestas muchas expectativas en este producto y realmente se han cumplido. Este cargador de pilas te permite cargar hasta 16 pilas de AA/AAA y 2 pilas C de 9V a la vez. Puedes poner todas o solo unas pocas, las que quieras, cada canal es independiente y hace la carga independiente para cada pila, dándole el voltaje que necesita cada una. Lo mejor de todo es la gran pantalla en la que puedes ver la carga de cada pila y te muestra dividido en 4 barritas la carga que va haciendo cada pila con luz parpadeante. Es decir, que si ponemos una pila descargada totalmente parpadeara (de abajo hacia arriba) hasta 1 barra, y esta irá subiendo conforme se vaya cargando hasta alcanzar las cuatro barras cargadas totalmente, y algo importante es que al completarse la carga ya no le está dando voltaje a la pila, se para automáticamente. Si ponemos una pila con más batería, esta empezará a parpadear en el nivel que esté. En la pantalla salen numeradas del 1 al 16 y 2 de 9V., por lo que es muy fácil saber el estado de cada una. Cuando la pila está cargada totalmente se muestra en la pantalla las cuatro barras completas, fijas, sin parpadeo. Entonces ya sabes que está lista y la puedes retirar. Vuelvo a resaltar el paro automático que hace el cargador cuando la pila ya está cargada porque me parece muy bueno ya que no tienes que estar pendiente de mirar si ya está cargada o no, y es algo que otros cargadores no tienen. Y como en este cargador podemos poner muchas pilas a la vez creo que es muy valioso. Si insertas mal la pila, está no aparece en la pantalla, y como están numeradas te das cuenta perfectamente la que no has puesto bien. Si ponemos una pila que no es recargable, aparece en la pantalla en el número de posición que la hemos puesto con la sección de barras totalmente vacía y no hace nada, es decir, no da voltaje a esa pila y la barra no parpadea. Todos estos detalles me han parecido que están muy bien y son muy útiles. La pantalla se ve perfectamente clara. El cargador tiene protección de cortocircuito y protección de polaridad inversa. Detección de sobrecalentamiento para evitar sobrecarga. Clase de eficiencia energética A+++. Viene con cargador de alimentación de CA, y 2 tipos de clavija de enchufe. Nosotros al recibirlo viene directamente con la clavija de enchufe nuestra. Pero está muy bien, porque si viajas, sabes que lo vas a poder utilizar en cualquier país. A resaltar que este producto tiene una garantía de 1 año, por lo que esto ya dice mucho del producto y te da la tranquilidad y confianza para comprarlo; oh por lo menos eso fue una de las cosas que yo tuve en cuenta a la hora de comprarlo. He leído algún comentario que decía que le costaba un poco sacar las pilas AAA., yo no he encontrado esa dificultad para nada, todo lo contrario. Yo encuentro que es muy fácil y cómodo poner y quitar las pilas. Para ponerlas, lo hacemos introduciendo la pila de abajo hacia arriba. Para retirarlas, tan solo tienes que sacarlas desde la parte de arriba, y es muy fácil y sencillo. Trae manual de instrucciones en Español, y en muchos más idiomas (Inglés, Francés, Italiano y Alemán). Después de probarlo varias veces, confirmo que no se sobrecalienta para nada y que la pantalla digital con la información de cada pila es realmente muy valiosa. Me ha parecido muy fácil y cómodo utilizarlo y realmente estoy muy satisfecha con el producto. Pongo vídeo para que lo podáis ver, ya que una opinión visual te puede ayudar a decidirte. Ich habe hier soooo viel auf Batterien bzw. Akkus und IMMER zu wenige geladen. 20 Fernbedienungen, überall Led-Kerzen und Kugeln und Lichterketten, und Mäuse und was auch immer. Normalerweise muss ich immer in die Werkstatt laufen, die alten mitnehmen und neue abholen, dabei natürlich hoffen das die neuen Akkus auch aufgeladen sind. ...🙄Und damit ich nicht mehr so rumlaufen muss habe ich mir dieses Gerät hier geholt. Es ist ja mal richtig groß. Es passen 18 Akkus rein. Es hat eine tolle Digitalanzeige, die mir verrät wenn die Akkus geladen sind und auch immer wie voll sie sind. Das Gerät kann ich super praktisch an jedem USB Anschluss laden, also am Laptop, PC, Mehrfachsteckdose, im Auto.... ach fast überall.Das Ladegerät ist aus Kunststoff gefertigt und wirkt von der Qualität ganz gut verarbeitet. Ich habe nichts zu bemängeln.Mehr brauche ich nicht zum Glück.Gerne würde ich dir auch Fotos etc zeigen, aber Amazon hat das jetzt während Corona eingeschränkt... 😔Mein Fazit:Riesiges Ladegerät mit vielen Möglichkeiten und guten Funktionen. The media could not be loaded.  Niente da eccepire, una stazione di ricarica davvero completa: 16 pile stilo o ministilo ( il passo è doppio) e 2 9V ricaricabili a tempo e con informazioni in tempo reale sul display.Il display è illuminato di un piacevole azzurro ma non vi è modo di spegnerlo se non staccando la corrente a tutta la stazione.Arriva corredata del suo alimentatore da 12 V 2A, scatola e istruzioni.Per ora direi che mi sono trovato bene, l'ingombro è parecchio ma immagino che chi necessiti di ricaricare 18 batterie per volta non abbia particolare alternative.Come funzione aggiuntiva posso dire che se si inseriscono batterie non ricaricabili non tenta di caricarle ma sul display ne identifica la carica residua.A questo prezzo sicuramente un ottimo prodotto destinato più a un uso professionale o semi pro che al comune utilizzo domestico.

Voici le modèle XXL de la recharge de piles. Vous pouvez placer 16 piles AA ou AAA. Il s'agit d'un modèle assez professionnel et surtout utile car un écran LCD vous indique clairement le niveau de la charge de chaque pile séparément. En effet, à contrario des chargeurs bons marché qui ne rechargent que par paire de deux, ce chargeur vous permet une recharge individuelle des piles.Deuxième gros point important, c'est le fait que la charge se coupe une fois que la pile est rechargée. La majorité des autres chargeurs continuent de recharger la pile lorsqu'elle est déjà chargée, chauffant donc très votre pile qui perd de sa durée de vie. Ici la charge se coupe des la pleine charge.Le petit bonus de se chargeur et la possibilité de recharger en haut à droite des piles 9V, essentiellement utilisé pour des détecteurs de fumée à l'heure d'aujourd'hui.L'appareil est sobre et de couleur blanche.C'est un appareil bien utile que je recommande.
