Love my Joseph Joseph Compost Bin. Its kept on the counter right next to the sink kust as my grandparents did 55 years ago. Its wonderful to have biodegradable bags to line it. However if left for more than 5 days the bags begin to break down in the house and you have to take them to your compost pile in the bin.

Im happy to have found this brand of composting tools. These bags hold up against wet scraps or coffee grounds, yet composts quickly. Perfect fit for the Joseph joseph bin.

These hold up nicely and make for a relatively clean compost bin

Unless these bags are filled and changed frequently, they tend to leak by the time you try to pull them out. They keep the inside of the bin slightly less gross, but overall I end up just having to carry the whole bin outside as if there was no bag.

Perfect size for my under cabinet compost bin, broke down well in my bokashi composting set up.

The size of these is perfect, and they fit my countertop compost bin perfectly. One thing to know is that these bags are certified to be commercially compostable, so they aren't made to compost in your backyard compost pile. Even still, a major drawback is the durability. The bags usually don't last more than a few days in my countertop compost bin before they start to disintegrate. The only way to prevent it is to empty the bag often, which is inconvenient.

I bought 5 packets altogether. 1st packet was fine but the 2nd packet was a smaller size although the packaging stated the same model. Not sure if it is a one off but it is past replacement period and I am stuck with some I cannot use. Disappointing

Its a good bag, the only reason I am not giving it 5 starts its because its transpartent. I know that is the iteam. But when i purchased it was not very clear. Having a transparent trash bag its not a great iedea..

These are great quality. Very strong liners. I was buying cheaper green ones before and was having to double up (even triple up on some occasions!) but these are very strong - only one bag required, so probably overall costing less! Perfect fit in our new JJ bin.
