The Tarot Book and Card Deck: Reconnect With You: A Comprehensive Introduction to the Tarot with an illustrated Tarot deck

If you are getting for your first tarot I found hard to interpret the cards, since it is a very modern deck some of the essential simbols are not there.Despite the fact that it is modern, it is one of the most beautiful decks I ever seen and I had to get it. :)The cards are lovely, the colour, the pictures, the details, the history behind it. It also comes with a book that has an easy, dinamic language. It explains a little bit of tarot history, how to play tarot in multiple ways. It also explains the meaning of each card.The book is just as modern as it deck.Over all, I found it fair for the price and beautiful.

I fell in love with this deck on just watching a few YouTube vids, and having the deck in my possession has only compounded this sentiment. The artwork is very unusual and yet full of symbolism, and as a lover of TdM, the pips in the minors are my preference (I know not all will appreciate this, so buyers do need to be aware that this is very much a pip deck!) The colour theme of the deck (teal and pink backs and accents with black line drawings on a white background) appeal to me very much too. Cardstock was nice and sturdy for such a budget set. I’d warn that this deck does have repetitive cards in the minors however, in common with some Eastern pip decks (eg the Taiwanese Royal Tarot and some Russian Tarots.) Those not used to this method of expressing the courts, ie as the same characters only with different suit colours or implements, may feel a bit cheated, but I’ve had several decks like this and it doesn’t bother me personally. This is actually now one of my favourite decks in my collection- very different and ideal for those who like pip decks!

Iv been doing tarot readings for over 10 years and this is one of the most useful decks I own the book gives you clear and easy ways to understand each card and it also gives you tips on remembering the meanings to each card so you can learn in a more personal way, the deck is beautifully illustrated they only down side was it looked like the box was a box but it was a cover on a box I just superglued the cover to the box to make it stick together over all I do recommend this deck to both beginners and for those who are advanced just cause you can never get enough information

I love the cards and the book that comes with it. Ber straight forward and helps you learn the basics without being too complicated. The cards are thin but I prefer this as only have small hands so they flex more when shuffling. The box however could be better not a good box to store them in, more for just presentation or decorative purposes.

I loved the easy to follow explanations and spreads with clear guidance describing the meanings of each of the tarot cards and spreads, making interpretation much easier than in most tarot sets. The instructions are so clear that in a couple of hours I'd learnt how to do a single card reading and a simple spread, which was so inciteful!Excellent value for a lovely gift - i'll be buying it for my friends.

great start to reading tarot cards... love the design and illustrations. The book is well written & has lots of details and guidance... only thing that would make this better is if it came in a reusable box to store them in

I’ve been looking for a deck and accompanying book and I’ve found the perfect set for a beginner. The book is really easy to understand and gives me lots of inspiration and enthusiasm for using the tarot for self understanding and for making decisions about my future. The cards look good too so the set would make an ideal gift.

The book is really good for beginners such as myself, a lot of information about meanings and spreads. The artwork is really nice, however the quality of the cards is a bit of a let down. I have been using them for only a few days and not constantly and some of the paper has already started peeling off because of the shuffling. The cards are very thin and flimsy. Definitely would recommend for a beginner, but I am already thinking of buying a better quality deck.
