Worth the money.
First thing I noticed was the size of this deadcat. It is extremely small! I was expecting something bigger, but it works perfectly! I made some tests on it and apparently it will only get wind noise if you are pointing it against the wind (like from the back of the recorder). I tested this on an H6, just to let you know. I could also made it fit on the small box that comes with the recorder although it barely fits. I wish I had more space on that box because I don't want to have it wrinkled. But that's just me, I am very special with my things... It works perfectly fine and I'm glad I did not buy a red hair one, since this one will fit any mic (except the boom stick of course...) and is way cheaper. Yes it's worth it.

This is the one! With one flaw
First time using a windscreen. Used it in heavy wind and it let me pick up ambient audio. I know they sell more expensive ones out there, but I’m sure this does as good a job as any, because the audio of that heavy wind was astoundingly clean. And it’s perfectly fitted to both stock zoom h6 capsules. No adjustments needed (except tightening the band, which happens to go over the gain knob. This is ridiculous design, but it’s cheap and Known to work, so I accept it with its flaws)

Furry windscreen
I bought this for the H4 Essential which is so new that it did not have an official windscreen. You have to cinch it up a little and if it's pretty well. It's very furry and feels just like my gray cat! It definitely does the job.

Great quality
I do a lot of outdoor recording with my zoom H5 audio recorder so I literally only ever record with this on it. Obviously it’s not going to block out all the wind, that’s not its purpose, but it definitely helps. I feel like it has just helped with overall quality of sound in that I don’t hear much of that white noise static. I’ve had this for 4 or 5 years and it’s still in perfect condition. If you need one of these for your zoom audio recorder, this one fits perfectly and has stood the test of time.

A little bulky on the h1n, but lives up to the sound quality
I use this with the Zoom H1N. This little windscreen has worked wonders. I've been doing a number of field recordings near a lake and the wind can whip around pretty quickly. This has prevented all wind from hitting the capsules on my H1N. And I haven't found any fibers pulling out yet! Of note, it is quite large and if you pull it all the way down, it will cover the entire screen, gain knob, and headphone out. It still works well if you pull it back up a bit, but it takes a little bit of fiddling. Even this gripe is worth the quality of the windscreen.

Essential for closeup speakers or outdoor recording
Essential for outdoor recording as they greatly reduce wind noise, and for reducing plosive sounds from speaking into the microphone. Nothing is perfect, but essential nonetheless. And if it is really cold outside, buy two and put them on your ears.

Perfect
Perfect. We record our rehearsals, and we were getting wind noise from the ceiling fan (even on low). The included foam windscreen helped, but didn't fully eliminate the noise. This works like a charm, and it's even easier on and off than the foam screen.

UPDATE: Tightening strap broke.
I've owned this windscreen for a couple of months now. It looks pretty huge on my Zoom H4n Pro, and theres also some noticeable high frequency reduction when it's on. The trade off is excellent wind noise suppression, plus it keeps my Zoom mic's protected from the elements (light rain, dust). UPDATE: After a couple more months of use, that strap used to tighten the windscreen around the microphones has now snapped. The windscreen now loosely sits on the recorder and falls off if the recorder is turned upside down.

this arrived fortunately during a day that was fairly windy, so i got to test it out right away on my Zoom H2n. other than some occasional low end rumble it effectively eliminated all other wind noise. prior to this i had purchased a knockoff windscreen and it wasn't nearly as good, i misplaced it recently and decided to go with the proper Zoom one. just make sure the drawstring is TIGHT as on its own it's not a snug fit (on the Zoom H2n). plus there's the added comedic effect because it looks like a Don King toupée lol.

good quality product. I used it on my H4n and H5 recorders. The result is good.

If you want to use your compatible Zoom recorder in a storm or capture clean speech in a very loud environment you'll need something dedicated to the cause, but this is more than good enough. Without this you can breathe or wave a hand to overload the mics, put this on and you can go for a walk outdoors to capture the sounds of nature, your footsteps, your breathing and your clothes. It's an essential piece to have.
