BLUKF-13-BL to Bluelounge Kickflip, 13"

Such a simple little things but honestly couldn’t imagine using my Mac without it now. It does add a slight thickness to it, I have mine on my case, but with case and kickstand it is still able to fit into its carrying case just as I’m able to still slide into my jeans after COVID quarantine; a little snug but still functional. The ONLY downfall is that there is no grip on the bottom of the kickstand when you just want it flat. Depending on the surface you’re own you may feel it slide back with the weight of your hands resting on your Mac but it’s a simple fix. I’ve added two silicone feet to the bottom for grip when I don’t want to kickstand in full use. Also I know some mention how the adhesive grip is weak and it falls off. I’ve had this for 6 months now and it’s only fallen off once because I was testing to see how much I would need to pull on it before it gave out. Follow the instructions, rinse with water, let dry, reapply, and it sticks like new.

A must for Mac owners. I mostly lie down and watch media on my Mac, which makes it rather difficult for for the flat keyboard view and typing. This product totally changes the situation. It also serves a lot for desktop use and typing . Quality is good. Can be used in two positions. normal flat mode and one with the hinges engaged which gives more elevation to keyboard. Sticks to the Mac very firmly. Box say's if you need to remove the stand, the sticker leaves a not sticky surface, well I have not tried this out. Overall highly recommended for Mac users.

Awesome kickstand. Attaches securely, even with a BodyGuardz carbon fiber skin on the bottom of the laptop. It does indeed make typing more comfortable. The thickness of the stand is more than the height of the rubber pads of the computer, so the rubber pads can no longer reach the surface of the table and the laptop slips around more easily than before. However, the issue is not severe enough to make the product a bad purchase.

As both a reformed device abuser who would prop up my previous 17” and 15” MacBook pros on anything I could (to the point where my 17" died due to a hinge issue that messed w/ the motherboard connections, and many drops), and someone with a genetic connective tissue disease that means tired wrists and hands with prolonged typing (especially on the reduced motion butterfly keys, compared to the older models of 2010 and 2011 I’m used to), this has been great so far! I have had to wash and reapply as other reviews and instructions stated. I applied first without it, but since it came off easily to reposition it just suddenly peeled off with zero surprise or ceremony a few hours after. Washed with Dawn Ultra Antibacterial Dishwashing Liquid Apple Blossom (56 oz.) . Reapplied, very secure until I made the mistake of pulling on the stand too hard while in the "extended/down" position....washed with Dawn again and waiting for it to dry. Thinking maybe something other than dawn next time, or just straight up using the incredible Gorilla Tough & Clear Mounting Tape, Double-Sided, 1" x 60", Clear ? Positioned with the top of the add-on aligned with the top of the line of icons/text below the first 2 lines (made in California etc….so aligned with/covering the line of logos and approvals below that) It’s propped up to give enough support but not so much it goes in the other direction and makes my wrists hurt more. When closed, yes it’s a bit more noticeably unstable, but I wouldn't go so far as calling it "wobbly", and it also provides a touch of raising that even by itself gives that extra tiny boost that the flat-lying MBP wouldn’t, but is perfect for when I don’t want or need the support of the full extended stand. Good little add-on, especially if you read the instructions or don't consider having to augment its adhesive a deal-breaker (I don't - yes, it's a liability, but once you figure it out via washing or double-sided tape the device works as advertised. Recommended. EDIT: as of one week and two adhesive washes later, both followed by the product falling off anyway, I broke down and secured it to my laptop with double-sided Gorilla Tape. Disappointed the adhesive was so lacking for what's essential a $17 piece of plastic, but pleased with the product's actual function now that it's adhered like it should be (Gorilla Tape is holding way too much of my life together including my Nest thermostat to my wall via the electric box metal plate when the provided screws wouldn't go through studs. Still holding strong. Highly recommend it as a solution here with a little creative/precision cutting with nail scissors).

This thing is awesome! It has been such a cool thing to have for my macbook. Definitely recommend this kickflip. It really is easy to clean, you just rinse it with water, and it goes back to being sticky. Totally worth it. UPDATE: Been using this for over 2 years!! The adhesive is not as strong as it once was, but it still sticks to my macbook. I sometimes have to adjust it after being in my backpack, but seriously after 2 years of daily use I'm thoroughly impressed!!!

Just installed yesterday, so I can't comment on the adhesive issue other reviewers are commenting on, but what I have noticed, is that when it is not in the kickstand position, it doesn't stay flat against the laptop, it kind of flops around, allowing a gap which might get caught when putting in a briefcase. The idea is great, needs a little work, maybe a stronger spring to hold it in the stowed position. Now the unit i bought was advertised for a 13 inch, but fits my 11 inch macbook air perfectly. I couldn't find anything else, other then the individual legs, which just would not stay on, or could not find a good mounting position. So in conclusion, I would say that if the two issues where corrected with the adhesive issue others are talking about and the stowed position issue, this would be a 5 star product.

Don't buy. Doesn't work. It falls off and won't adhere. Mine is 2 weeks old and already sits in a junk drawer at home. Useless! I own several Bluelounge products and am a huge fan of them. This product is not the quality of their other items.

J’achetais déjà les produits Bluelounge lorsqu’il fallait les commander en Californie. Depuis toutes ces années rien à changé, le Kickflip acheté en 2008 pour un Mackbook Pro fonctionne comme au premier jour.

Me gusta que me ayuden a levantar un poco la computadora, no es la primera vez que los compro y sin duda los volveré a comprar en el futuro, estoy 100% satisfecho.

Works very good. The stand is stable and reusable. The stand doesn't add any bulkiness to the macbook, and it still fits even tight bags designed for it with this flip stand installed.
