Cable Matters [UL Listed] 10-Pack 10Gbps Cat6 Keystone Jacks, RJ45 Keystone Jack, Ethernet Modular Jack in White for Patch Panel and Wall Plate

I wish there was a universal standard for keystone jacks and wall plates and biscuts. But because there is not and I have a box full of mixed jacks and biscuts, I needed get some new ones because I didn't have any sets. I picked these because the price was good and it was a reputable brand. The jacks are good, I think the biscuts could be better but will mention those things in the review of that item.

These jacks are punch down, which in my experience are dramatically more reliable when making the initial connection than toolless ones. They match the color of white plates perfectly, and make a strong, satisfying click when snapped into the plate. Ethernet cables connect solidly without any play.

This was my first time terminating cat6 cables into a keystone - it was easy to do with these keystones! I bought the keystone stand (which was very helpful), and you will need a punch down tool. After following the directions I was able to successfully add the keystone and had it working after the first try! These are quality pieces!

I got these because I needed to terminate some cat6 in my house. These worked perfectly for what I was looking to do. Absolutely no issues punching down into these keystone jacks. And they fit my surface mount keystone boxes perfectly. All in all, another good cable matters product!

These cat6 connectors work great. They stood up to my ham-fisted cable installations where other connectors have broken off the most outboard tang. I had several do-overs where I needed to pull the wires out of the connector (because I punched down as 568A when I wanted 568B) without any trouble. They also fit the keystone standard as I am using them with a different brand wall wall plate. All in all I like the Cable Matters connectors. When they come up with one that installs itself I'll give those 5 stars.

I have used all 10 of these and have not had a single problem with any of them. I rewired my whole house with coax to each of my bedrooms and living room because I was sick and tired of looking at the mess that my cable company had left me with, when they wired my home. Since I was already getting my hands dirty, I decided to add cat6 cables to all the locations as well, and use a 1Gbit switch for the rooms as well. I purchased this 10-pack because I actually ended up using all 10 and not a single one had any problems. The trick to these is to make sure that you are wiring to the same configuration for all cables that you use. There's a T-568A and T-568B configuration (which you can google) and for my setup, I used the B configuration for the heads and for the connections to these. Make sure that you have the right tools if you plan to do this yourself. If you have a small wire stripper, it should have a small metal head that you can use to press down the ethernet cable's wires into their positions. You don't have to strip the small wires before pushing them into their sockets. All you have to do is press them into their correct position, and don't worry if the wires stick out the sides - it's actually easier that way. After they are in place, use a wire cutter to cut off the extra wires sticking out the sides and place the cover on. That's all. I used LEVITON 41642-W 2-Port QuickPort Decora Platform, White inserts that have cutouts in them for different keystones and these fit nice and snug. The colors also match. You just have to make sure to put them in in the correct orientation. There is a top and bottom to these and even if one way fits, it may cause problems for the piece next to it if it is put in the wrong way. Once it's in correctly, it works as expected. I haven't had any problems with any of them unclipping, or falling into the wall so 5 stars for a product that well deserves it.

Big fan of keystone wall plates and keystones for clean installs in your home. I'm redoing the house we just bought, running ethernet wires to each room as we're a bunch of pc gamers (4 in the house) and so I install these keystones right at the back of each computer station to make hookups a breeze and keep cords hidden. Can't go wrong. Just make sure to buy the wall plate too, as this is the insert that goes into those wall plates specifically for ethernet cables.

Works great and consistently delivers 1 Gbps. Easy to install.

Bought these to go in a server rack patch panel, Without realising a lot of patch panels on Amazon are too narrow, the keystones (These or any other) will not fit next to each other. So I purchased a new patch panel (TRENDnet TC-KP24S) and I found these keystones to fit no problem (Some other makes wouldn't). Quality is good and work as expected (So I bought another pack of 25)

Heads are easy to install. It was so easy to use, I've started all my projects going forward with these.
