Works well
This little device works well. Makes soldering so much easier. Should have bought one of these years ago.

It is my little helper
The media could not be loaded. I love, love, love this little stand. It makes my solders so much prettier and clean cause I am not getting frustrated because of having to try and tape the thing I am working on to the table so it won't move and the magnifying glass helps so much.

works as intended
This is great for soldering but i did put some heat shrink on the clamps to prevent them from damaging fragile things

Not very stable
I am somewhat new to soldering. I did it long ago during a basic electronics class. Anyway, needed a third hand to help do some small electronic repair (mouse, remote, etc..) that required removing, replacing switches and capacitors. I don’t do it often so wanted something inexpensive. The item is good but not ideal. The base is heavy but very small. It keep tipping over if you put to much pressure on the circuit board. The base needs to be much longer. Also, the base is bare metal. So if you are working on a smooth table, it will slide around. Need to put it on a grip pad to prevent movement. If you plan on doing a lot of soldering, I would suggest buying a better soldering station. This is only good for light, infrequent use.
