Got this for my grandson, but his Dad, my son, loved it too. They were running it all over the house as it was raining. Very quick, not like the older ones. It maneuvered and responded quite well. A great Christmas gift.

This was for replacing my child’s Minnie Mouse RC van by Just Play brand; which kept getting stuck everywhere. It was now time to introduce the kid to a real RC car. Dislikes, the remote control feels light and hollow in contrast with the old school “Nikko” controllers and “Mattel” controllers, the cover to access battery is difficult to open, I almost hurt my finger trying to pop it open. Now the likes: it’s fast and amazing and goes over almost anything. It’s got soft “airy” rubber tires, which absorb the shock well. It’s a lot of fun, the keep/car is quite powerful for its size. I have charged it once and then kid has played with it 3 times to her hearts content and the battery is still not depleted. It says it’s for 8 year old, but my 7 year old girl loves it. These controllers buttons (L R and up down) are better ergonomically in comparison to the ones that have a wheel thing on a gun type of handle. You won’t regret it. And no size dolls fit in there maybe an LOL doll. Easy could charge $35 for this car.

My 5 and a half year old LOVES this car. Her face and reaction as she was opening it was priceless and worth eveey dollar. Overall, we like it! It has a lot of power, great battery life, and i love that they're rechargeable. Cons - why not just manufacture a charging port on the bottom side? It's not very convenient having to keep track of a tiny screwdriver and another charging cord that doesn't match any other charging device. We have to unscrew the lid, take out the battery pack, disconnect, and then connect to charger cord. Literally, scrap that process and just build the port into the bottom. That would be SO much more convenient. 2nd con - the steering is so hit and miss, and with the tires being pretty slick plastic, it mainly does donuts on the hard wood. The acceleration is super sensitive, so that makes it a little more difficult for steering. Pros - fun! Would be a great toy for a large blacktop or super short lawn! This thing wants to climb everything. Overall, great buy!

I bought this for my (nearly 4) year old. For the price, this is completely worth it. The tires are soft with excellent grip and it's the perfect size. It is about the size of a football and very light weight. The headlights are bright and cool to see in the dark. They have a separate button to leave them on or off. It is simple to recharge and does so fairly fast. After ramming it into walls and/or other things, it hasn't broke in any way or effected any of it's performance. I might just buy another one, at $30 it's hard to beat.

Is great for kids

I have played with this in stock and slightly modified form at a park. Let me be clear.... *DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO BE A GREAT OFFROAD RC CAR* My wife bought this for me as a little gift to mess with. In stock form this is is a cheap rear wheel drive (2 wheel drive only) RC car. It would be fine for small children using it indoors or mostly flat surfaces. It also fits great under a stroller. My rating? 3 of 5 stars. Yes its cheap, but it will be fine for most indoor, flat surface, and very light offroad use. The pic of it in the grass was it being stuck in tall grass on a flat area. 30m approx range but at that distance you cant see it well (1st pic shows max range@1x zoom on camera). Works in rubber playground footing and sand (i.e. volleyball court). This thing has no torque so it cant get through tall grass or over small sticks. The tires are an odd point. They have to much grip on some surfaces causing the car to not be able to steer until its moving. Also the throttle and steering are all or nothing. Hope this helps.

It’s a great remote control car especially for a kid who’s never used one before. Easy to learn the controls but, after the first 2-3 days of using it the battery packed cover completely broke off which meant the battery would then not stay in. I contacted the company and they were nice enough to send out a whole new car! It only took a few business days and my nephew was back to being occupied all day lol. So before careful screwing the cover on the car it’s the only part on the car that seems to be flimsy.

I got this as an upgrade to a supercheap rc that I got for my 3yo. This one is fantastic. It's got headlights that you can turn on and off from the controller... which isn't that fun but for some reason never gets old. The rechargeable battery lasts for longer than you expect it to, even if you have high expectations. The real value here tho is the durability and the range. My kid and I jumped it off the stairs about 50 times in a row, NO PROBLEM. He can chase it all around the parking lot NO PROBLEM. The only thing this truck can't do well is grass. It's not 4wd, and it's small... so there's that. This is a fun toy that won't break easily and doesn't cost much. Kinda perfect. Also this is the only RC that I've ever seen with a "thickness" rating, and somehow it makes sense. This thing is thick.

My grandson was thrilled to receive this toy as his first remote control car for Christmas. Big hit and easy to operate. It is a little light on the rear end so it can get itself stuck in soft terrain but overall it is fabulous!
