Robust tool rest
What an improvement over the General cast iron tool rest. Can’t say enough good things about it. Buy one and you will be glad. The hardened edge is great and the pivot point for your tool remains constant not like most cast iron rests. Great tool rest.

6'' is the perfect size for all my wood work
Very well made.6'' is the perfect size for all my wood work. Robust that say's it all..Harden top bar no need for sanding to get the little dings out we all put in our tool rest.Make sure you get the right length for your lathe. I ordered one too short but had no problem with vendor in placing it with the right one.
