I purchased this for anxiety. Did not expect this to work. I have taken prescription anxiety medications in the past. This is better. I noticed it working in 30 minutes to an hour. It makes me feel at peace - everything is ok - everything is manageable - but not drugged at all. It's very strange. It makes you feel like normal people probably feel. It has eliminated all anxiety and irritability, regulated my sleep wake cycle, gives me energy in the day and I can sleep easy at night. Reduces my depression. Sleep is by far better quality. After taking a few days, and seeing how amazing it was for me, and knowing it doesn't make you feel drugged at all, I gave some to my teenage son and we had the first productive conversation in a very long time without him being defensive and yelling and not listening. He told me, about 30 minutes after taking it for the first time, and I quote, "It's like the hostile side of me just stepped out of my body". Then he read a book for 2 hours (last time he read a book for pleasure was probably when he was 8). He has been reading books instead of watching tv every night since then which is his choice and totally out of character and is more interested in improving his grades. Much easier to be around. Smiling and happy. I was actually really scared and freaking out the first night that he took it because he was SO different. I worried that I had badly drugged him! But he told me repeatedly he didn't feel drugged and laughed and I know now he didn't. He stayed up reading which was crazy and was smiling and friendly even when we were talking about grades and changes I wanted made-different kid. My husband got a stomach virus that he went to er for and neither my son nor I caught it and I think it was because of this. It is immune boosting and has many benefits. This tastes horrible so the two options as far as I'm concerned are mix with a little sweet juice in a tablespoon and chase with a flavored drink you like or put in empty capsules. Do not try to mix this with large amount of juice. I prefer empty capsules so I don't have to taste it at all. This is my second bottle. The first one I paid $22 at the health store. This is a bargain and I would still buy this herb even if it was $75 a bottle it's that good. Try it. I take 2 droppers full in 2 empty 00 capsules (around 6000 mg) and my 13 year old son is taking one 00 capsule full in the morning (around 1000 mg). I will update with other benefits I notice. I am planning on trying other Ayurvedic supplements as I think they are better than our medicines and I think I can get off the vyvanse which is dangerous. Ayurvedic medicine makes you healthy and our medicine causes deadly side effects like cancer and heart disease. It's a no-brainer to use this instead of dangerous and addictive benzodiazepines and stimulants for anxiety and ADHD. This supplement also is used to prevent cancer, diabetes, and reduces blood pressure and has many other health benefits. I wish I had ordered this earlier instead of waiting. It's life-changing.

Just purchased this product 2 days ago. I used it once since. It relaxed me and I was able to sleep longer than usual.

First of all, OF COURSE it tastes awful, it's whole plant ashwagandha! If you get some that tastes good, you've been ripped off. I put 3 dropperfuls in the last swig of my protein drink, swirl the glass around to mix is, chuck it down and chase it immediately with a big drink of water. Don't even taste it. I FINALLY FEEL BETTER. I've been battling chronic fatigue and malaise since I completed cancer treatment in January of 2018. I've taken everything to try to get back some energy, nothing worked. I learned about ashwagandha when I googled "chronic fatigue" and several different sites recommended it. I felt better almost immediately. I've been able to start exercising again, show up to things instead of having to cancel at the last minute because I can't hang, and I seem to be sleeping better. Just bought my second bottle. Now keep in mind, I'm on a "nothing but healthy food" diet (no fast food, no junk food, no alcohol and no soda) but I've been on this diet for 3 years, along with mega doses of B-12 and other vitamins, but it seems like the ashwagandha is the final piece of the puzzle to get me back on my feet. I can't guarantee that you'll have the same results, but I hope you do.

This is a very effective product, but I swear its the worst tasting thing I've ever had in my life. This tastes like death. This product calms my jitters very well but I would caution anyone from using this during the day or at work as it causes excessive calmness and sometimes sleepiness. Ive been taking 1ml twice a day, and on some days I feel like just taking a nap. It doesn't necessarily cause fatigue but It does make me feel very at ease, my guard is down and I dont feel as alert as I usually would without it. I have not seen any cognitive benefits so far. But the product is good overall, just keep a barf bag nearby just in case.

I have heard about Ashwagandha for a long time - I have had adrenal fatigue for several years. I have taken supplements that include Ashwagandha, but never taken it by itself. This bottle is much larger than I expected and have been taking it for several weeks. I started taking it in the morning, but it made me sleepy so now I take it in the evening. The benefits I have noticed are: Fall asleep easier Wake up easier Don't have such a hard time waking up Wake up early and feel like I had a good nights sleep, instead of exhausted I noticed this has helped keep weight down too - when I don't take it my weight tends to creep up These are the main things I have noticed. Ashwagandha also seems to give me a slight headache, so I take small amounts and work up - I am hoping the dull headache will go away - it is most likely a detox reaction. Ive been buying this product for years. It tasted awful but it was very effective. I can handle a horrible taste if it works well and it really worked well. The last time I ordered it it was supposed to be whole plant extract like I always buy but I recieved root extract. You can't get the whole plant extract anymore. Keep in mind you cannot return this product. I still used it though it tasted less awful and didn't seem as effective but still worked. Fast forward to a few days ago when I ordered more because I ran out. I ordered two bottles of it and one was not the correct product and the other is not even close to what I recieved last time. This is very watered down. Doesn't have much of a taste and you have to use a lot to get it to do anything for you. I am very disappointed. I really liked this company and their quality product but it looks like they are cutting corners and making inferior product now. I will be looking elsewhere.

Just bought this but it has a terrible taste. I just started using it so no effect yet but I don't think I can get passed the taste.
