Such an easy tool to use to scribe a perfect fit.
I build and install cabinets and the easy to scribe to fit a wall is amazing. How I got along without this all these years is beyond me. Great tool in my arsenal of tools.

Great scribing tool

Almost Perfect
Nice design, sturdy construction. These are great for scribing to relatively flat surfaces, as the guide is about 3/8" wide. Won't get into nooks&crannies (stone/brick/logs). Could easily modify the guide by grinding or filing it to a point. For me, using for scribing cabinets to walls, so the broad guide is great.

Why is it so pricey
Any other lead is wayyyyyy cheaper and you get sooo many more pieces but if you use easy scribe your basically forced to buy their replacement lead and its way overpriced

The lead pencil inserts can be brittle.
Excellent scribe tool.

Breaks if you look at it the wrong way
The leads for the scribe are weak and are constantly breaking. I don't have this problem with other marking tools with replaceable leads. They do mark well.
