No! Only mineral sunscreen is reef safe! This is false advertising!

Has anyone tried the Amazon sunscreens? What do you think of them?

I recently bought the spf 30 face sunscreen and body spray sunscreen. I like them both. The face sunscreen stays put (no dripping in my eyes!) and it's scent isn't overwhelming. I like the body spray as well, but wish I'd bought the smaller container, as the big bottle is difficult to hold and use simultaneously.

Probably not. They’ll say it isn’t tested on animals because the “finished product” isn’t. But that doesn’t mean individual ingredients aren’t tested on animals. Or, if this product has anything to do with China or if it’s sold on the Chinese market, then yes, it will absolutely be tested on animals at some point. Just not by the actual manufacturer. Unless the product is certified cruelty free/leaping bunny, then you’ll never really get a straight answer

Does it run when you sweat etc. and get in your eyes and burn. If so what makes it specifically appropriate for your face?

I don’t notice either running or burning…if sweat runs in your eyes though, to be sure it will be at least in part a solution of whatever’s on your skin. I just don’t notice it being an eye irritant. I *will* say you should wash your face well once out of the sun, b/c whatever makes it stick to you all day will also clog pores if you leave it on. If I wash my face well, I’m good. If I phone it in, or leave it on more than 10 or 12 hours, guaranteed zit or two.
