I used my APS towel today for the first time and I thought it was fantastic. The towel stayed in place quite well and kept my hands and feet dry throughout the entire session. The rubber backing will leave indentations on your hands and knees, but I didn't think it was a deal breaker. I do wish they offered a more toned down color option, but the towel works so well that the brighter blue color is worth it. The towel is not overly soft or thick, but I think that is why it works so well. It doesn't feel like a microfiber chamois - like what you use for drying a car (as I hear some cheaper yoga mat towels do). I think it is a fantastic price for a towel with the rubber backing and I hope it stands up to many uses and washes in the future! (BTW, I was not given the towel for a fair review, I bought it outright after hours of researching yoga towels on Amazon)

very sticky yoga mat, great for staying in place while doing hot yoga. I also use yogi toes mats and I actually like this one better....it stays in place better, has the little pocket for belongings and is slightly longer. plus, the price is much better!

I've used and washed this towel around a dozen times now, so thought I'd share my experience. I'm a very heavy sweater, so a towel in the warm/heated classes I take is absolutely necessary to help provide extra grip.Pros:-It sticks well on my not-very-sticky mat-Works better the sweatier it gets-The price is great compared to similarly designed towelsCons:-The fabric is too thin--I get temporary indents on my arms and legs from the grippy nubs on the opposite side whenever I do anything off my feet-It's not as grippy when dry (but the bottom will always stick pretty well to the mat): When I get tired I'll sometimes find a dry spot that doesn't have as much grip-Design: I'd prefer if it was the same length as my regular-length mat and also the pocket in the corner is rather ugly and useless. More toned-down color options would be great too.

This is a great towel great grips and very absorbent and durable. It is suggest that you do not use softer so the non slips do not get slick and the fabric keeps a sturdiness to it. I would suggest if you do use some that you use a little and hand washing would be something to consider. I was given my first one with a great discount and purchased another for a friend. I would love to see a pink one!

This is the best hot yoga mat and towel set = ever!When the room is 99 degrees and I am sweating a lot, I needed a mat that would stay in place and a towel that not removes the sweat but helps me to get dry immediately.Buy two sets while you are at it!

I bought this and one other yoga towel to try in my warrior sculpt class. I really like this one. It does not slip around and the more I sweat the more traction I get. I am going to start wetting it a little before class. The only reason is that I don't sweat as much on the bottom half so my feet do slip a little. My hands do not but, that half of the towel is where all the sweat drips from my face and chest. I am glad that I purchased this towel
