The callipers read more or less like my Mitutoyo Vernier. The action is very smooth and better than Mitutoyo callipers. The overall fit and finish are good; the thickness of the calliper jaw is 2mm more than others. This is good too. The only downside I found is the callipers draw 25um A of current when on and also draws the same when off. The result is the battery is going to be drained. By my calculation, I will get between 6-12 months of battery life. However, they never lose their zero due to constantly being on, similar to the absolute function on more expensive callipers. They don't lose zero if moved too fast. They also use cr2032 batteries, which I prefer over the lr44/sr44. It is worth mentioning these callipers are identical to Shahe callipers; they just changed the branding. Otherwise at 25pounds these are a good value and work well, I would buy these again.

Now I am retired, I was on the lookout for one that is well made, and smooth to work with. As for accuracy! I can not calibrate it to industry standards. But for me a handyman this is the best I have had. it is smooth to the feel and smooth to Use. It is really really well made.

Bought as a backup to a £130 Mitutoyo calliper, the M Sure impresses with thoughtful design, build/finish quality and repeat accuracy. Supplied in a no-frills plastic case with no documentation. In direct comparison, the mechanical slide action isn't as smooth - but is still good - and the character display is a little smaller. On the plus side the twist battery compartment is a better design and includes a o-ring seal and I prefer the CR2032 battery source. There's even a USB data output socket (if anyone would ever use this).All in all I feel the M Sure does give the Mitutoyo a good run for its money at a fraction of the price and should make a very competent everyday tool for the workshop. I can so far highly recommend - durability yet to be assessed.

I bought this for occasional use when wanted to measure circular objects such as pipes, screws or anything like that. Have used a few times. The quality seems reasonable and it does what is required of it so very happy.
