Life saver
This saved me £150 having someone come and install and OEM part. Fits my AEG perfectly and resolved the issues of the oven tripping the circuit on the fan. Installation was surprisingly easy. I made it a bit more difficult for myself as I couldn’t remove the door on my oven to get access to the screws properly. Check if it’s the right element for you and save you a bunch of money getting it done by someone else.

Works perfectly - v easy to fit.
If you have a Bosch, AEG, Neff etc and are wondering if you can fix your oven - yes, you can. Remember to turn off the power at the switch or fuse box. You don't even need to move the oven. 4 star style screws attach the rear plate. And then 2 of the same and the old one comes out. Disconnect the two spade terminals and your ready to reverse the process. All fixed in less than 20 mins unless you decide to scrub the back plate before you refit it.

Got the oven working again.
Our fan oven packed up, and I was looking forward to a £100+ repair bill. I mentioned it to a friend who said he'd replaced the heating element in his oven himself. So I was persuaded to have a go. It was pretty straightforward getting the failed element out; I even bought a multimeter for £8 to test it. Fitting the replacement was a bit of a fiddle as I had to bend the contacts and was afraid of breaking them off. So, little by little until I managed to squeeze them back through the hole at the back and screwed it on. It now works fine for a total cost of about £33, and I still have a multimeter.

Perfect fit, works well
Bought as a direct replacement for an original element that failed after 10 years in an AEG oven. This one is exactly the same make as the original and was obviously a perfect fit and very easy to install.
