Excellent product thank you Kimaru
This review is for the Kimaru DC Coupler and Dummy Battery. I have now purchased three of these power supplies. I have one for a Canon 90D, a Canon Rebel T4i and a Canon SL2. They all work perfectly. They all fit perfectly. I have used my Canon cameras for hours powered by these units and they don't over heat or exhibit any odd behavior and work perfectly. The Kimaru dummy batteries are inexpensive and work great. I trust these and would highly recommend this product.

works flawlessly for the cannon EOS rebel T7i. no complaints. fits perfectly. doesn’t seem to overheat. very durable. Infinite battery life since it’s connected to mains.

Does what it says
Works exactly how it says on the tin. I use it with my Canon EOS RP for astrophotography. Delivers adequate power steadily.

Great mobile charger
The battery pack works very well. It is a lifesaver when we forget to charge the microphone before a lecture. Using it, we can charge in the car on the way to the University. It has paid for itself in reduced frustration!

Unusable for video because it adds loud buzzing to audio
I bought this to power my Canon for recording, but it introduced a loud buzzing/humming noise that the camera picks up during video. The noise is strong enough that it ruins the audio and makes recordings unusable, especially for any situation where clear sound matters. The whole point of using a dummy battery AC adapter is reliable continuous power, but if it adds electrical interference into your recording setup, it defeats the purpose. I tested it during recording and the buzz was obvious enough that I could not use the footage audio at all. If you only care about powering the camera and do not record sound, it may be fine, but for video recording with on-camera or connected audio, this was a bad experience for me. I ended up not being able to use it for its intended purpose.

Works but you have to fiddle with it
Works out of the box but you need to fiddle with getting it in place and opening the door when removing. Not much of a problem - just something to be aware of.

Content creators cheat code
Just shot my first video with this dummy video. Had the camera on the entire time and never once had to worry about running out of juice. Definitely a great buy for content creators
