The size was perfect. The letters had a little warp to them but, overall well made.

These are great! I like the size. Although be warned that they are multiple colors and shades of gray and natural. I was surprised by this, but it's not that big of a deal to me. If you need all one color, be careful buying.

Excellent quality, exactly what I was looking for. The colors do vary a lot. I'm painting them so it's not a big deal for me, but worth mentioning.

These letters are awesome for my 3 year old alphabet fanatic. Just a couple of notes:1. While they are 'pretty' durable, they are easy to break for an active toddler and a few have split during my son's rough play. They're thin wood.2. I really liked the idea of having a storage box to keep them in. If you too are purchasing for the box - BEWARE. Mine had several nails that were ever so slightly protruding thru the underside of the box. I never saw or felt them, and during my Son's first play with the box at the dining table, discovered it had made several very large scratches in the finish that cannot be repaired. Now it is a 'carpet only' toy. We may add felt pads or something if we feel it is worth it to keep the box for continued play.

I only wish it had more letters. They are pretty good not solid they will break if subjected to force, not dropped. I think they would work best painted, not stained. Only because of variation in wood color. They are great for crafts!
