The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent (Light Novel) Vol. 2 Paperback – Illustrated, February 16, 2021

Started reading because I really like the anime. I like how these novels give more insite into Sae's thought process and give more details than is covered in the anime. The story makes more sense as the anime glosses over some important details. However, the anime flows a bit nicer and adds in some some extra character development that the novel lacks. All in all, I'm enjoying the story and plan on reading the manga after I finish the light novels.

There is a quality of Innocence to these books that is so charming, so compelling. The author is able to capture and portray people so well, and then deliver it in an understated yet moving manner.I just love these people.Bravo!

Like part 1, the plot is not particularly original. Former office lady in a new world still wants a normal life, but she is too kibd to ignore the plight of others. Keeping her abilities secret proof to be impossible. The story is slow paced, the world rather generic, but I like the characters and find the slice-of-life part entertaining. Not my favorite in the genre, but entertaining and good for the genre, hence the 4 stars.

I just love how the story keeps going strong without any unnecessary fillers. I want to see the romance between Albert and Sei continue. I also want to know more about the second prince.

Sei remains an endearing protagonist, and we learn a lot more about a few characters from the previous vol. (including Kyle, Aira, and Liz). This is a funny, lighthearted fantasy-adventure-romantic-comedy, and it's great.But you should totally start with vol. 1.

It made for a more interesting read and didn't fall into the regular troupe. Now the crown Prince and his fellows can rot for all I care. Entitled brats. The king needs a bit of comeuppance as well for letting him that way. Where's his mother? She needs to come down on her son and husband like a ton of bricks. /smhI hope Sensei gives us more romance I'm the next volume though. I'll be waiting here with my money ready to buy it.

I fell in love with Sei as he main character. I feel that she is simple I her motivations for a quiet and peaceful life, but her complex motivations greatly help the story. I cannot wait to read more about Sei and her disruption of the miasma spawning the creatures.

This book introduces the Grand Mage, and he's a pistol.The relationship between Sei and her BF is put on a back burner, but it's still there.Now that Sei is officially the Saint, I'm guessing book 3 will deal more with the monster threat?Maybe we will find out why Sei and Aria were summoned?I wonder if Sei is the Saint, and Aria is supposed to be a bodyguard or helper?I will be looking forward to the next book.

I enjoyed it and hope that the series continues

Ich war von Band 1 ein wenig gelangweilt, da er mir zu viel Slice of Life beinhaltete. Sei in ihrem Alltag folgen war zu großen Teilen alles andere als spannend und obwohl der Rest des Buches nicht schlecht war, reißte das für nicht mehr viel raus. Trotzdem habe ich auch Band 2 gelesen und war positiv überrascht.Während die Charaktere weiterhin nett und die Welt nicht uninteressant sind, passiert in diesem Band ein bisschen mehr. Sei erforscht ihre Fähigkeiten, so langsam wird auch dem letzten klar dass sie die Heilige sein muss und man erfährt ein bisschen mehr über die Welt. Es gibt einfach weit weniger Momente in denen gefühlt nichts passiert und dadurch kommt man besser durch das Buch durch und wird nicht mit dem Gefühl zurückgelassen seine Zeit verschwendet zu haben.Die Reihe ist auch an diesem Punkt noch keine Offenbarung, aber zumindest ist sie interessant genug um mich ein wenig neugierig zu machen wies weiter geht.

I am absolutely in love with this story. The characters are well written and the action is fascinating.
