Need a fan relay this is the one
I've had this relay for a couple months now put in through some heavy use. I use this on my 03 ranger i did electric fan conversion, and it's holding up just fine, still highly recommend pretty reliable relay i've also gotten it wet a couple times and it still holds strong.

Internal review of relay switch
If you are wondering exactly what this relay provides in terms of electrical design and implementation. Delighted to find solid copper internals, terrific dual brade, very flexible, stranded, woven ~8 AWG copper conductors from terminal #30 , a ~1/4 inch copper lug to activated contact. Terminal 87 of relay switch side provides a solid bar of copper rod 0.35 diameter with high temp contact on switch end. Plated high temp contacts are on both sides of high current switch as activated by relay. Relay operates well at 10 to 12 volts, with crisp aligned and swift magnetic force closure of switch. No bounce. Relay appears to be ok margin at up to maybe 220 volts as the base of the relay depends upon a piece of 0.07 inch thick plastic as isolation from 12 volt enamel coated solenoid wires AWG ~ #34 as connected to pins 85 and 86. Thermoplastic is higher temp, suitable wall strength, leg mount points may soften or melt at continuous duty of max current rating of device. For my application to deliver 200 A in a few milliseconds the device is well suited. YMMV

Great product
It’s perfect! Bought this for my sxs to control a secondary fuse block I put in for accessory lights/radio ect. I used a different brand the first time and it was all metal. It would get pretty hot and lasted about 3 months. This one works flawlessly, no heat and has been installed for almost 2 years!

this works for my battery
this works for my 48v 40a battery which produces 120a at peak

Works with DC to DC Boost Converter.
I first tried the 40A small Relay which got too hot at 12V, 25A. Then I tried a SSR with heat sink which had unacceptable voltage drop. ... Finally with the irhapsody 250A Relay we are in business (I needed to add a flyback diode across pin 85 to 86). Excellent 👌🏽

Works great and saves space
I have a Jeep gladiator so space is generally a bit tight. I didn’t really want a huge solenoid but to run a power inverter I was almost convinced I’d have to have one, that is until I found this product. It’s about as big as a general battery cut off switch and does exactly what it was made to do. Easy to install, I do wish it had two mount holes just so I could make sure it won’t shift while hitting bumps. Otherwise does everything I need it to do and saves space in my engine bay for other projects.

So far, so good. Buy next rating higher
I ended up making a custom aluminum fuse panel for a vehicle, and the 250 amp 4 pin relay was perfect to take the load off the ignition switch. The alternator puts out 150 amps, but for longevity purposes, I decided to buy the 250 amp relay. So far, so good. Everything works as it should and Im genuinely impressed. If youre asking yourself, just buy it. Take it apart and you will see the quality of the unit. Anyone with a bad review either had a lemon or doesnt know electrical. ***Update** One year later and the unit is still going strong. Granted, the relay never sees a full 250 amps, let alone 150. I've probably pulled a max of 90 through it at one time, but that's it. Still very impressed!

Idk about 250 amps but it handles the load I have on it fine.
2026 Edit: I’ve been through 3 of these. Do yourself a favor. On Amazon, search NVX BIR200. Buy that relay. You will never have to worry about it. These irhapsody relays burned up and I lost all cooling, overdrive and lockout on the highway. So far so good. Have it installed on my Cummins swap as a keyed power relay via a ground switch inside the cab. Have 4 fans direct wired and 2 radiator fans on a fan controller on it and it handles it no problem. Doesn’t even get hot. Not too sure about longevity but seems to be built well enough to handle a good amount of load. You wouldn’t think it would based on the size of the relay, (about 1.5x the size of a standard 30/40 amp relay) but it does it.
