Sooo a few years ago at a family reunion, my grandma remarked to me that all the women in my family have very thin lips. I honestly hadn't noticed it before, but after that I got self conscious. My lips really were thin! I was in CVS and I found this plumping lip gloss. Worth a try. I bought it. This gloss is very sticky. I actually hate the texture of it, and it transfers easily to everything your lips touch. Yet it's also hard to wash off since it doesn't seem to be water soluble. But at least there's not much of a smell to it. I notice some slight irritation and redness when I first put it on, but that only lasts a few minutes. The real plumping comes on more gradually. I prefer to apply this at night before sleeping, and I just exfoliate/scrub my lips in the morning to get rid of it. I use the clear gloss so that my pillow doesn't get color on it. The lip plumping effects persist all day even after it's removed. I think it actually takes several days for the plumpness to wear off completely. So you can build up the effects over time. Amazon usually has a better price than the drugstore, and 1 tube lasts about 6 months for me. Anyway, after I'd been wearing this gloss at night for a while, I got married... Grandma told me at the wedding that I was lucky I didn't have thin lips like the rest of the family!

So I just bought this lip plumper not knowing if it would really work or not but I thought I'd give it a try because my lips are so small and it’s inexpensive.. anyways After putting it on it did feel sticky but then became any normal non sticky lipgloss after a minute.. i did notice a difference in the size of my lips. It's not a HUGE difference but they did get plumper! I actually really like it. Because it's a really pretty gloss and it doesn't sting at all! It just kind of feels cool on the lips, i don’t know how to explain it better than that. Kinda like an icy feel on the lips, but it's nice and it did plump my lips. Give it a try if you have small lips and need a little plump. If you don't like it then you only wasted $7. I can't say if it works for everyone but it worked for me! :)

The scent doesn't seem too offensive, though I don't have a very sensitive nose. It kind of smells like the numbing effect the product has on the lips. It has a brush that seems more like one of those cheap watercolor brushes from elementary school than anything else, especially due to the bristles standing out a bit after just a few applications. Maybe it has something to do with placing it back in the bottle? It has a rather thick formula, but it definitely has a cooling/numbing sort of effect. If you're looking for just a teensy bit of lip plumping, this will work. It's has little to no color if you want to use it as a glittery lip gloss. Image is plumping effect. After further inspection in assorted lighting, I have concluded that it may have rounded out my lips a bit, but otherwise had no noticeable effect. Video is to show the brush after having only used it three times. I generally try to be very careful with my brushes, so I can only assume that the issue is having to put it back into the tube of gloss, since it has a stopper like most liquid lip products. I swiped it over three of my nude lip sticks twice to test how much tint it had on a small range of tones, the darkest being a medium tan (I don't have any darker shades unfortunately; luckily, it didn't seem to have enough tint to make a difference).

2nd purchase updated review-2020- I stand by my first review except I did knock off another star bc this bottle came with the wand COMPLETELY frayed! See new photos of second bottle purchased. I had to cut off the frayed part and now have only a few bristles to put it on with. I still love the color although it’s not extremely plumping as it should be- just a bit tingly and minty not really plumping. But as I love the color and texture I will buy again. 1st purchase 2019-I really love the color it’s probably my favorite thing about it and probably the only reason why I would purchase it again. Save before and after pictures. I can’t say that it plums the lips a whole lot although I do see a bit of a difference however Even when I apply regular lipgloss my lips look a bit fuller so I can’t say that it is from this particular gloss. The flavor isn’t bad it has a nice vanilla scent to it and the taste is a little minty but not overwhelming and there’s no aftertaste. It is pretty sticky which does help it to last long. So if you don’t like sticky lipgloss this is not for you you will be disappointed I however am OK with it I think it allows you to be able To lick your lips without it coming off which I like. I read reviews of people complaining that the brush frays tea bad, I did not really have that problem and mine is nearly gone. And one of the photos you can see the brush slightly frayed but it was nothing that I was really disappointed about I think it’s all about how you treat it. I was just careful when putting it back in the tube and I kind of twisted it as I was inserting it so it did not fray. I would recommend doing this to keep your brush intact or I recommend the company changing it to a spongy brush....... but that probably won’t happen so just be easy with it. All in all I do really like it because the shade is amazing and I will purchase it again because of that reason but as far as a “plumping” Lip gloss I would say this does not work the best again I noticed a tiny difference but nothing major nothing like you’ll get from more expensive name brand department store glosses.

Ok so much to say about this little bottle of lip gloss...... first the color is very light and kinda weird when you first put it on, honestly i dont like the color when i first put it on, it makes me look like I'm freezing and i've lost all color in my lips BUT it changes. You start to feel a tingling and a minute after this happens your lips plump a little and the tingling turns your lips this beautiful natural rosy red color. I LOVE it! The best part is its natural from the tingling, if you wipe some off there is no pink color or tint to it. HOWEVER, if you make a mistake and apply this outside of the lips, guess what, that turns red too and its not cute lol. You have to be very careful to keep this inside the lip line or it makes it look like you scratched outside of your mouth or are having an allergic reaction of some sort. And you cant wipe it off, it stays that way till the tingle wears off. This helps get rid of the fine lines in your lips and really truly looks great. It does go on very thick, like the thick that is VERY sticky. Your hair gets stuck in it, you move your hair and it gets stuck again..... definitely dont put it on and drive with the windows down..... now heres what I HATE, after just a couple uses (like literally two or three) the brush frays from going into the bottle and the bristles are now going every which way, it makes it difficult to apply and remember what I said about staying in the lip line? Yup once that happens with the bristles it makes it even harder to apply inside the lip line This is the biggest flaw with this. The brush is awful and really should be fixed. Its embarassing to put on around anyone because it looks absolutely crazy. Still with all the cons i mentioned, it just makes my lips look so good and plump and so much younger that I can easily tolerate the flaws and will continue to buy and cross my fingers that they fix the bristle situation. I LOVE this stuff!!! I will add pics later when I'm not too busy looking in the mirror ;)

I love this gloss! It goes on gooey and soft like honey, and is not sticky at all. I applied it once and it lasted about 4 hours. When first applied, it tingled a tiny bit (I was hoping for more!) and it made the skin around my lips turn red which I thought was weird but it went away after a few minutes. I don't notice a plumping effect, however it is the best lip conditioning I have ever had! I had really dry chapped lips when I tried this, I had been using chapstick like nobody's business a hundred times a day trying to get rid of the super dry stabby flakes on my lips to no avail, probably because it wears off so quickly and it is hard to keep up. But with just one application of this my lips felt wonderful and protected, I drank lots of water and it still stayed on, there is no icky taste if you lick your lips, and four hours later when I would have reapplied if I had been at work or something, my lips were perfectly smooth, dry flakes gone, and my lips didn't even have to peel!!!! I still did not reapply, and here it is the next day, and my lips are still smooth, perfectly healthy and no flakes or peeling. I will be using this daily!!!! Oh, there is no color to this gloss, there seemed to be a bit of glitter to it when I first put it on but it disappeared quickly. No matter to me, I like au naturel most of the time anyway. Just a note, when you first put it on it feels a little thick, but it soaks in after a little bit and just leaves a nice comfortable layer of gloss. Either way, thick or when it thins out, it is never sticky or uncomfortable. I will definitely keep buying this forever, and I'm checking now to see if there are any colors I would like to add to my makeup bag!!! If I ever notice a plumping effect after longer use, I will edit my post. But I think it's most likely just because your lips will stay hydrated that they will retain their own natural plump instead of being dried out and wrinkly. But we shall see!!!

Wish I would have read the reviews before I bought this. First, the lip plumper action was very minamlist. There were no tingling, stinging or any other feelings that it was plumping. My lips may appear bigger but I think it’s because if the amount of GOOP on my lips, which brings me to my second point. Second, the gloss is SO sticky that it is almost useless. There is no way I would be able to eat, drink, wear a mask or be out anywhere windy or I would have gunk on my lips. Third, the wand is topped with a brush, rather than a spongy tip. When I first opened the product, the brushes were already messed up with half of the brushes facing the opposite direction. It made for a difficult application to the lips. I haven’t tried the product more than a Day so I can’t speak for the moisturizing part yet. I’ll keep you posted.

I *always* use this to keep my lips looking plump. It's a morning routine staple of mine. I wear colored lip gloss or lipstick over it. The color of this plumper itself is a very sheer pink with glossy shine. Nothing wrong with that, but I like highly pigmented makeup. It looks especially good with a bold-colored matte lipstick on top! It keeps my lips looking smooth and juicy and removes those annoying natural creases/wrinkles that make my lipstick look weird. There is a little tingle sensation following application, which I also enjoy and lets me know the product is working as intended. I apply it once in the morning, then again some time around mid-day to keep my lips feeling and looking very plump until the evening. I've noticed that after applying consistently over several weeks, my lips look MUCH fuller on their own without any makeup whatsoever! I'm not talking about plastic-surgery type results, but I could tell the wrinkles/creases in them were reduced in appearance and my top lip (which I feel is very thin) looked more balanced than usual. So, by my own experience, the effects of this plumper last well after the initial application, and the results are certainly noticeable with continued use. After about of week of non-use (I ran out!), I did notice my lips slowly return to their "natural" state before I restocked.
