this stool is for my art table...
this stool is for my art table...so far I've spent hours sitting on this drawing on my new table. wood top so it's a little hard, handle allows height to be changed up or down and it's sturdy with five rubber feet on floor. for the price it's a functional stool, no back support, but I wasn't looking for any when I picked this one. Overall good for it's intended purpose for a reasonable price. Thanks for reading my review, have a good one! -Mike

Perfect.
Awesome stool! It perfectly matches the Rustic Oak Drafting Table I bought from the same company. The stool was easy to assemble. I put it together in less than 5 minutes. It looks great and it is easy to raise and lower to go along with my drafting table. When the table is tilted, I can lower the stool. When the table is horizontal, I can raise the stool to work at the taller surface. The stool is very sturdy and does not wobble when I'm sitting on it. It's just what I needed.

Nicely made, nicely priced!
This stool is exactly what I needed. It was reasonably priced, looks nice with a beautiful finish on the seat (as shown) and the mechanism works very smoothly and quickly! I measure the height of the stool down as 19 1/2 and all the way up at 25 1/2. I am barely 5'5" and when the stool is up the foot ring at the bottom is a good height for me to put my feet on. I feel stable. I had a question for them so I called the number on the packing slip. There was a short prompt which took me directly to a real live (friendly) person. He was very helpful and intent on having people happy with their product. I would be very comfortable buying anything else from this company.

A fun beautiful stool.
Beautiful stool that was very easy to assemble (less than a couple of minutes). It is fun to sit on, I like the spin, and going up and down is smooth. It actually glides over rugs and floors easily, as if it has wheels. It has a good span of heights, going really low and high almost like a bar stool. The first one arrived with a crack going down the edge that I didn't notice until after I built it. The replacement stool arrived with some dents on top of the wood, too. The wooded seat arrives inside bubble wrap and a cardboard shell, but all of that is loosely wrapped around it, so it still moves around everywhere inside the box. If the manufacturer would have put the seat with the padding taped up tighter to where there's no movement of the seat, I think the seats would have arrived unscathed. Hopefully the manufacturer will see my review and fix that. I do still recommend this, because it's the nicest stool I've found.

Excellent value! Flat stable.
I use this little stool for drawing and table top work. It's well anchored, solid and visually very appealing. Now and then, a find product comes out. This is one of them. Thank you!

I looked awhile for a stool that adjusted to the ranges I needed -- happy to get this great stool
Edit: I've had it a bit less than a year, and the weld that connects the sleeve to the base that screws to the seat broke. I got dumped on the floor. Luckily I was not hurt. I loved it until then. Examining the weld, it was a bad weld.If you've been on a shop stool, you know what this is like. I've been using it for awhile as both a piano bench and also a jeweler's stool which are very different requirements for height. This works great for both. It is REALLY sturdy, adjusts beautifully, is made of sturdy construction and the seat is a nice wood seat with a comfortable profile. Whoever designed this sat on it and revised and sat and revised until they got something they were content with and then I got the benefit of that. I _love_ quality:) It seems it will last forever.

Adjustable and attractive
I had a difficult time finding a contemporary, adjustable stool for the vanity in my bathroom countertop. The vanity is higher (36 - 37 inches) than usual, and I finally have a stool to use when I apply my makeup. It looks good in my bathroom. I didn't think it would fit in with my bathroom with fairly plain granite counter/double sinks and area for vanity in between. The tile floor is off white. It is sturdy and easy to move. I think these would look great in a kitchen, too.
