Nice for quick measurements
I like this tool b/c it helps with very quick measurements. Dirty with clay does not impact performance. I would not use it for matching lids; metric ruler is better.

I needed this tool quick, so I took a gamble on this one. More sturdy than I was expecting. Looks like it should do the job.

Useful items for pottery making
This is used for making pottery.caliper used to get right diameters. Hake brush can be used to put on slips or glaze

Purchased this so I could take it to clay class and not worry if it breaks or goes missing. Cheaply made, form and function not as nice as name brand, but works reasonably well. Screw doesn’t stay tight but that’s easily fixed.

Cheaply made
I can't get this tight enough without fear of it breaking. Be very gentle and careful when moving it after measuring a piece or it will move.
