Stunning high-gloss finish — professional results if applied correctly
This product worked exactly as described. I used it on my pool pavers, and the results are absolutely beautiful. The high-gloss “wet look” really brings out the color and gives a professional, finished appearance. I’ve used other sealers before, and this one stands out as one of the best. Application Steps (What worked for me): 1. Clean thoroughly – Start by removing all dirt, debris, and dust. A good sweep and rinse is essential. I used a power washer. 2. Degrease if needed – If there are any stains or oils, use a degreaser so the sealer bonds properly. 3. Let surface fully dry for at least 24 hours - Moisture will interfere with adhesion, so make sure everything is completely dry. 4. Apply in late afternoon – This is key. Avoid direct sun so the product doesn’t flash dry too quickly. 5. Roll on evenly – Use a roller for consistent coverage. Don’t over-apply. 6. Wait 24 hours – Allow proper curing before applying a second coat. 7. Apply a thin second coat – This enhances the gloss and durability. 8. Add anti-skid additive – Highly recommended, especially around pools, to reduce slipperiness. Pros: • Incredible high-gloss, wet-look finish • Makes pavers look vibrant and professionally done • Easy to apply with proper prep Cons: • Strong fumes — this is a solvent-based product, so wear a mask and ensure good ventilation • If drips get into the pool, they can form a floating, semi-solid film Important Pool Tip: If any sealer drips into the pool: • Turn off the pool filter immediately • Use a nylon net to remove the floating material • You can also place a nylon net in the skimmer basket to catch debris • When working near coping/pool edges, use a rag to minimize drips into the water Overall: Absolutely beautiful product. Highly recommend. I’ve done similar projects before, and this one delivered excellent results. With proper prep and application, you’ll get a stunning, high-end finish.

Outstanding high gloss sealer
The sealer is a fantastic product for enhancing and protecting surfaces. I used it on my concrete patio, and the results were impressive. The high gloss finish gives a beautiful wet look that really brings out the color and texture of the concrete, making it look brand new. Application was straightforward with a roller, and the sealer dried quickly without any streaks or bubbles. The durability is excellent, providing a long-lasting protective layer that withstands weathering, UV rays, and wear. It also repels water and stains effectively, making maintenance much easier. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to achieve a high gloss finish on concrete, pavers, or other surfaces. It delivers professional-quality results and significantly enhances the appearance and longevity of the treated area.

Excellent sealing qualities on Unilock brand pavers!
The AR500 Sealer was used on our nearly 900 sq-ft paver patio. The patio was installed about 10 years ago using Unilock brand pavers. For unknown reasons, the contractor who originally installed the patio did not apply any sealer, which we think adversely contributed to the paver locking sand (used in the cracks between the pavers) breaking down over time. The thought being that the elements (water, freezing, thawing, etc.) had the opportunity to wick down into the compromised locking sand leading to the pavers heaving & the locking sand popping loose. Perhaps had the entire patio been sealed following installation, and repeated periodically over the years (maybe each year), the patio would not be in the condition it was. In the process of determining what to do with the deteriorated patio condition, we obtain quotes from various contractors. As you can imagine with a patio this size the cost to revitalize was extensive. We opted to do the work ourselves with the bulk of the effort coming during the removal of the existing/broken up locking sand. This was accomplished using a multi-tool & a quantity of thin blades, which actually worked quite well but took a long time. The displaced sand had to be vacuumed out of the gaps between pavers with a shop-vac. After removing all the loose & deteriorated locking sand, the patio was thoroughly cleaned, new sand carefully applied and secured in place with a water mist. The last step of a very lengthy & arduous process was to apply a very high quality sealer. We identified Foundation Armor's AR500 brand on Amazon and went with it. The process took 2 coats since the first application was almost immediately absorbed into the pavers & sand. We quickly noticed after applying the 2nd coat that the entire patio came to life. Massive contrast in appearance! We have had several hard rains and initial observation was how the water droplets beaded across the surface. I suppose only time and exposure to the elements will tell how well the AR500 sealer holds up. Our plan is to reapply a coat each year based on the patio's condition. Sure, the product is not cheap but my thought is that "good & cheap rarely get together." I don't mind spending the money for a high quality product, especially after the amount of hard work put on the preparation. This should have been accomplished as part of the patio's initial installation. Hopefully this review is useful to those out there facing a similar situation.

Amazing Results
Let me start by saying . I had a big job. This stamped concrete is 15 years old and hadnt been resealed for about 6 years. So It was long over due... I had A driveway as well as a wrap around stamped concrete walkway and steps. I got several quotes from contractors and they were 2600$-3k for the job.... So i decided to do it myself... Lol I initially purchased a cheaper product from a big box store, and after hours of applying to my driveway, ended up with a milky , cloudy , dull surface and its awful. The process for removing seemed daunting. So I returned the product. and decided the driveway will have to wait until this cheap garbage wears off and can be removed.... So...I went online and read about many products & reviews as well as you tube videos. After great reviews and videos,I decided to purchase the Foundation Armor AR 500 from Amazon and try on my walkway and steps since they didnt have anything on them. I cleaned them with a pressure washer, let dry for 24 hours, and waited until early evening to start so the temperature was conducive. I did a small area and let it dry over night. I got up the next morning and I wanted to cry. It was beautiful. ..wet look, glossy, the colors were vibrant and looked like it did years ago when it was first installed. So the next evening I checked the weather to make sure no rain was heading in and I got down to business and finished the project. Its Beautiful! Yes I recommend this 1000 percent. Dont do what I did and try a cheaper version from a big box store. Get this product from the start and save yourself the time and heartache of disappointment. I will never use any other product.. This stuff is easy to use, looks amazing and is worth every penny. Thank you for such an AMAZING Product!

So Pretty
I was so worried when I bought this product. I was unsure of it use indoors. I will say, the fumes are horrendous, but the shine is as advertised even after the first coat. The wet look is definitely a wet look!!! I am so in love with my floor. I can’t wait until the second coat is done! I can say that this product is easy to use and easy to apply. Dry time says 24 hours between each application but it is drying faster with the use of fans. (I would definitely recommend allowing the full 24 hours dry time though!)

Easy to use and great wet look results!
Great product. This was my first time using AR500. I have previously used CS309 and I have been looking at this particular product for the last 2 seasons, but I still had 5 gallons left of the previous product, so I wanted to use that all first. After last year's application of concrete sealer which left my stamped concrete looking dull, I decided that this year I would try this product instead and as most reviewers have pointed out, this product works very well without any problems. I typically seal my patio every year and like the wet look. AR500 certainly delivers. I power washed my patio and let it dry for 24 hours. I sprayed AR00 on using a Chapin sprayer with .5 gpm nozzle and then back rolled. I allowed the 1st coat to dry 24 hours and then applied the 2nd coat in the same way and I am very pleased with the results. I had no issues with bubbles and for the first time ever in 20 years of sealing this patio, I did not have to spray on any xylene to smooth out problematic areas. Cleanup with easy with xylene and overall, I'm very pleased with AR500 and will be a yearly customer from now on.

Second Sealing Campaign with AR-500
As the title states, this is my second application of Foundation Armor AR-500 sealant on my stamped concrete driveway. The previous application was three years ago, and it was time for a renewal. I am happy that the first application lasted three years as we live in the rust belt and the driveway is exposed to road salt about four months of the year. The AR-500 held up well, but the gloss had dissipated. Preparation involved a power wash which consumes some time and water (600 square feet of surface area), but once that is done, the most challenging part is working around the weather. I started the job when I did because the forecast was for ten days with no rain. So, after power washing the driveway and waiting the recommended 24 hours, I applied the first coat of AR-500 with a half inch nap roller cover. It took me about two hours using a 9-inch roller, but it is easy to apply. I planned to apply the second coat after 24 hours drying time but of course, it rained about ten hours after I finished the first coat. No harm was done to the first coat, but the driveway was wet, and I had to wait two days for it to dry thoroughly. We have had unseasonably hot weather this year and we hit 90 degrees, so I had to wait until 8 PM to start the second coat. It went a little faster than the first and I finished at about 9:30 PM under the lights! My only other comment is that the sealant releases some rather pungent fumes which is not an issue outdoors, but if you were applying it in a confined space, be sure to provide adequate ventilation. I am quite impressed with AR-500 for its durability and good looks. It is vastly superior to the original sealant the contractor used as that expired in less than one year. Foundation Armor Company provides instructions and hints on applying the sealant and if you follow them, you will enjoy the results.

Looks great, fades quickly!
The sealer looked great this past May when I applied it to pavers. It restored the pavers and really restored the colored pavers. However, less than a year later I'm disappointed that the sealer has lost the sheen and has apparently worn off. I would think this sealer would've lasted at least three years. I can't see spending this much money on sealer and having to reseal the pavers every year. I'm also hesitant to seal this often which could cause a build up of sealer creating a white haze.
