Will this work for a cockatoo?

It probably would if you don’t mind bending over to get the bird in and out. You could set it on a stand of some sort or table top though. It would also depend on the size of the birds feet as to weather you would have to put something more suitable on top of the cage floor so bird’s feet would not get stuck in the bottom. Don’t hold me responsible if you find it doesn’t work for your bird since I don’t have one and can’t try it out for you. But since I use it for my dogs I’d say go for it if it meets your price point. Great quality and you can roll it around. Just saying.

What re the dimensions of the individual kennels with the divider?

about 20 3/4 from the end of the cage to the divider.

What is the difference between "3 tiers" and "3xdg-43-t"? do the top cages have privacy dividers?

The bottom cage is taller than the 2 top cages on one model. The other model has 3 cages that are the same height.
