Used it for my Cuban art class and it became one of many books I bought about Cuban art. The older books have color illustrations of excellent quality and this one is so well written.

A nicely composed resource!

Library book. No purchase. Good book highlighting several Cuban artists and their works. Primarily from 1902 to 1959. Knowing little about Cuban art during this period I did learn quite a bit and was introduced to several Cuban artists I would not have known about otherwise. Nice little explanations concerning the artists and the works, too. For those with an interest in art and specifically Cuban art the book is well worth your while.

It was bought as a gift, but the person already had a copy. Can't comment on the read because I returned it
