Great product at a decent price
Fan was exactly what i needed. Very easy to install. Thermostat works well. Unit lowers the temp. in my garage quite a bit. It is no louder than a window fan , even when on high speed. speed is adjustable if you want it to run slower. All i had to do was cut a hole in the wall, and wire an outlet close to it, so i could plug it in. Did those two things, installed, and turned on. Works great. good quality, built well.

Nice exhaust fan
In the winter, when snow melts off my car, I get lots of condensation in my heated garage, causing mold to form on windows, etc. in the garage. I had this fan installed and now I can easily control the problem. I plugged it into a wifi outlet and I use that to turn it on & off. When there is condensation, I turn the fan on via the wifi & I can set it to run 3-4 hours (or whatever I choose) - this way it doesn't run unnecessarily long if I forget to turn it off. As an added bonus, I had new wood flooring installed - the kind they have to stain & apply urethane. The installer wanted to put a box fan in a window to exhaust air & fumes caused by the chemicals. I suggested we open the door going to the garage & turn on the exhaust fan. It worked great. You can adjust the speed of the fan to get appropriate air flow and this fan can move more air than a typical box fan. We actually didn't have to run it very fast. The installer was impressed.

Works great!
Oh my gosh this is exactly what I needed! I have a 10’x12’ shed type greenhouse. I’m a 5’-2” wife and was able to install it by myself. The thermostat feature is amazing. I highly recommend this! It’s a little louder than expected but it’s powerful so it’s doing its job!

As advertised
I needed some sort of venting for my garage and this looked like it would be the right fit. It was pretty easy to install and I simply plugged it in to the same outlet my garage door opener operates off of. It's not super loud and moves a good bit of air. The temperature control seems to function as advertised, I haven't set a thermometer to see if it's accurate, but I've left it on for well over a week now and it cuts on when it's hot and shuts off when the weather is moderate so I don't see any reason to. My one critique of this item is that the other reviews are correct. The louver vanes are very lightly sealed and they routinely will pop open when the wind catches them. I may look at doing some of the fixes that others have used (i.e. a small spring, weight, magnet, etc.) if I notice any issues with it during the winter.

Solid fan
I don't usually leave reviews but this fan is solid and I was struggling for a while trying to decide what to get Bought two separately, both arrived undamaged and well packed. Both work incredibly well, powerful; good looks and weight. Foam added in key spots looks like it helps mitigate sound/help with insolation Made makeshift window insert out of 2x2's and put it next to the stove. Works much better then those dinky plastic window inserts you can find elsewhere NOTE: - Blue protective plastic on shutters has a noticeable impact so take the time to remove it completely - Fans can only exhaust air properly if there is an intake for air elsewhere. I'm not the smartest knife in the drawer, but the people whining about in other reviews clearly struggle to understand that - Shutters don't seem to open all the way but I don't see why they'd need to - Speed control LED super bright lmao

Great product
I recently had the chance to try out the iLIVING 12" Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan, and I must say, it's a game-changer for anyone looking to improve their home's ventilation. Design and Functionality: The fan is sleek, with a design that blends well with modern interiors. Installation was straightforward, and the fan's features like adjustable speeds and humidity control make it a versatile choice for any room size. The built-in thermostat and programmable settings are particularly useful for maintaining comfort without constant adjustments. Performance: When it comes to performance, this fan excels. It effectively removes humidity, odors, and moisture, which is crucial in preventing mold and mildew in the bathroom. The noise level is impressively low, especially considering its power, which makes it ideal for use at night or during quiet times. With a CFM of [specific CFM if available], it's perfect for spaces up to [size] square feet. Energy Efficiency: Being Energy Star certified, this fan not only performs well but does so efficiently, helping to keep utility bills in check. It's a thoughtful investment for those looking to save on energy costs while ensuring good air quality. Customer Service and Durability: From the reviews I've seen, the manufacturer stands behind their product with excellent customer service. There are reports of quick responses to inquiries and efficient handling of any rare issues with the product. Plus, the durability of this fan seems to match its performance, with many users noting years of reliable use. Overall, the [Fan Model Name] is not just a fan; it's an upgrade to your living space's comfort and health. If you're in the market for a ventilation solution that ticks all the boxes - from design to performance to eco-friendliness - this might just be the one for you.

Quietness of this is fabulous
Extractor is very quiet. Needed for the attic as it was getting super hot in summer. After installing it, we can feel the difference in temperature. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the improvement done. Very reliable, durable and cheap price for this

It's an easy install and works right out of the box. Just plug and play. It moves a good bit of air and is actually quite quiet. I can't hear it in the basement with the garage door closed and it doesn't vibrate at all unlike my fan hood in the kitchen. Haven't used the temp switch as I plugged it into a remote switch before going into the outlet and will just turn it on when I'm sawing or painting to remove dust and fumes. Great addition to the clean air aspect of the work space. Longevity remains to be seen but will update. So far a ten for the price and convenience. Recommended.

I installed this fan in my garage to vent the heat out in the evenings. Oh boy, did it make a difference! My wife and I were shocked at how well this unit performs - it's strong enough to create a vacuum against the door to the house so that when we enter the garage it pulls the door shut behind us. It's reduce the temperature in the garage by 8-10 degrees Celsius in the evenings (on a hot day would get to 28C and now we can get it under 20C by midnight. The house subsequently is cooler, specifically the bedroom above the garage. It was a big difficult to find a vent cover that I could use on the outside of the house, as I didn't want to leave it open. I found a 14x14 metal cover at Rona for about $35 which has done the trick. The wiring was pretty straightforward (green under green screw, black to black, white to white) but the instructions are terrible. Take a few pictures of your wiring and have an electrician friend confirm your wiring if you're not certain about it. We also purchased the wireless controller system. It works really well and is pretty easy to figure out (again, the instructions suck but it's pretty straightforward). Would highly recommend this add-on. One other thing - the baffles on the back side of the unit are awesome. The overall unit is much more commercial grade/industrial than I was expecting - I was expecting something a little stronger than a 150 CFM bathroom fan but this thing can crush a lot of airflow and is not even in the same league as a bathroom fan. We didn't realize how much of a difference this fan has made, and have recommended it to many family and friends. If you have a garage or crawl space it's worth the investment, you'd be surprised!

All parts of the fan arrived in good condition and worked well out-of-the-box. The temperature controller has some hysteresis which was expected. So far the only negatives have been: 1.) the flange was too wide to fit between normal studs, but an angle grinder made short work of the edges, and 2.) it makes some electrical and/or resonance "buzz" noises at lower fan speeds, but that doesn't really matter in a garage like where I have mine installed. The fan moves a lot of air for its size! I'll be interested to see how it fairs over winter (I won't be using it then, but it's not installed in a temperature-controlled environment).

Used to vent out the heat in the sun room, It quickly draws out the heat and it works perfectly.

Installed it in my wife's 10'x20' aluminum frame and glass greenhouse. Fan runs smooth and does not rattle the structure. Thermostat works as expected - in the heat of summer it has run none stop and not a squeak or rattle.
