Comfortable for my runs
I bought these headphones so I could still hear traffic and cyclists on my runs. The sound quality is surprisingly good, much better than I'd expected with both music and podcasts clear and more than loud enough, without me going anywhere near as loud as they can go. I can now listen to them and still hear cyclists coming behind me in plenty of time. I'll be using these year round but I'm most looking forward to using them over the winter where I'll be out in the dark more and it'll be even more important to be able to hear what's going on.On my first run I was aware of my ponytail hitting against the band at the back, as it does sit out away from the head (like you see in the images), but after that first run I haven't noticed it at all, so I guess I've got used to it quickly. Even on the first run where I was aware of it it was still far less annoying than my old headphones where the connecting wire always seemed to be about to pull the earbuds out of my ears!I've added a photo of the earphones along with my kindle to give an idea of the actual size - they're quite a bit smaller than I expected so don't sit as far off the head as I'd worried they might. :)Another reviewer mentioned the beeps being very loud, but I haven't noticed this. Maybe a case of getting the right volume mix between the phone volume options and headphones?

Good for long meetings. Sound not to be compared with actual headphones by
Update: been using them 2 years now and I e replaced them with new ones on the bases they disconnect when on a call and connected to a second device. It seems that this is an issue that cannot be resolved and honestly very annoying when on a call. Good for one device at a time. There are a few things about these headphones. The sound sound never be compared to usual headphones. Nowhere near. The sound however is very fair for being bone conductive. In regards the statement that you can be aware of your surroundings due tony fact is not blocking your ears, not really true. Unless if the sound is low. Otherwise you can’t hear anything other than the sound coming from the headphones. The first two weeks I had a bit of a dizziness but now I got use to them. They last long enough so when having long meeting, no problem. One of the main however advantages is the fact that is not blocking your ears. So if you have to have them on your head for long time due to meetings etc, no problem at all.Do not buy the white ones. I returned them second week because they turned black at the edge for some reason as if they were dirty. I have the black ones now and no problem.Updates on this product (23/02/21), the product is good for two things, can hold long meetings without bothering your ears, and can stay in place when running. Now when connected to more than one devise, the Bluetooth system I would classify it as really really bad. It disconnects one or the other devise, and then constantly whilst on a meeting for example, is making the reconnecting sound, literally the entire time. When want to connect on a devise it seems that it’s getting confused quite a lot and quite constantly. When running, the claim that you can hear the roar is false, unless if the sound is very low. Otherwise no way you can hear anything else. I would consider it very mediocre.

I had read the reviews but wasn't entirely sure....
So I only write reviews when products are at either end of the spectrum - great or rubbish.I bought these both for running, sessions on my turbo trainer and out on the road on the bike. Earphones that don't go in your ears - yeah right but I read the reviews and watched the videos and went for it.I am so glad I did - these are brilliant. They pair instantly, fit both for running and with a cycle helmet and the sound quality is more than good enough for when you are exercising in particular. Sure if you are flying down a hill at breakneck speed with the wind in your rears they are a bit quiet but I have to turn the volume quite some way below full when out on the bike to ensure I can get the balance right of hearing the music/podcasts as well as the traffic - and its this they are particularly great at. I do not believe its right to be riding with earphones in (or running for that matter) and did use an old set of earphones with one earplug cut off which sort of worked but these are so much better. Thanks guys - I love these.

Fantastic if you like long phone calls
This is a replacement for Trekz Titanium that I accidentally crushed, but they had been amazing for three years. These are as good, lighter with less vibration. I bought them for cycling but I've always used them mainly for phone calls. The call quality is amazing and they're great for driving hands-free. I talk for hours on the phone and I wouldn't want to hold a hot phone to my head for that long or wear ear buds. I'm going to be a lifelong customer!

Work well with a mobile or Echo device, multipoint Bluetooth a bit poor
These are noticeably better put together than my previously owned lesser brand alternative, but were twice the price. Sound quality is much better as well, when paired to a phone or Amazon Echo. There is also significantly less sound leakage compared to the cheaper brand as well. One issue I experienced was really poor sound quality when connected to a laptop and using Teams. I initially contacted Aftershokz customer support but gave up figuring the laptop was the issue, I was wrong. I reset the headphones and paired to the laptop only (no multipoint Bluetooth) and they work perfectly. It is a shame they don't play well connected to an Amazon Echo and a laptop at the same time, but connected to one or the other they are spot on.

Not the best sound quality, but they aren't in your ears don't forget!
I am a bit of an audiophile, but sound quality is not what these are for. I bought them for cycling as I wanted to be able to hear traffic whilst on the road. I'd tried in the ear ones with 'transparent' hearing that allows sound into the ear through mics, but when cycling the wind noise was terrible. These are a whole different concept - the music sound is conducted through your cheekbones near your ear. I've tried them when cycling and they do the job really well. You can hear the music most of the time and still hear the traffic. The only issue is when you are in really loud traffic but this is not a major issue. Sound quality is just OK, but when conducting through bones it's never going to be amazing. Overall I'm very happy with these for my trips on the bike.
