Khanka Hard Case Replacement for Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 2nd Gen Bluetooth Speaker (Grey Mist)

This is a very good case for the Beosound A1 2nd gen. It's of the perfect size that almost exactly matches the size of the speaker. Meaning, there's not a lot of extra unnecessary space ensuring the overall case is compact and can be easily tucked into luggage when travelling. It's also a hard case and I feel it provides just enough protection for the speaker. There's just a little space left inside enough to put in your charging cable, and neatly tuck the speaker's carrying handle into. In my case, I was able to put in the original charging cable, another 6-inch USB C cable for charging using a powerbank, and then tuck the leather cord of the speaker, and still easily close the case. Just don't believe the pictures you see. The speaker is not meant to be stored that way (with the grilles facing up). Store the speaker following the shape of the case, meaning store it facing down, and it's a perfect fit. Not tight, not loose, but perfect. Also, it ensures the upper grille of the speaker is protected from contact with anything as it's down below. The only thing left exposed would be the bottom of the speaker, so even if it comes into contact with the charging cables, it doesn't scratch.

I can confirm that this case fits the Beosound A1 3rd Generation. Wasn’t sure when I ordered it if it would fit, but took the chance. It fits fine. Well made case. I got it to protect the A1 in our camper van.

The b&o a1 fits perfectly snug in the case no problems at all with the product I highly recommend it for your A1 speaker. Great quality.

This is a nice case. The fit is great, nice and snug. Knocked one star off because the lid was sewn on slightly crooked. Once it zips up the fit is fine.

Was a little worried about how this case would fit based on some of the reviews, but it’s a perfect fit. The inside of the case is a soft velvet-like material. I saw some reviews indicating you should put the speaker in upside down … you can do that, but it actually fits very well right-side-up. You can see in the picture how well it fits in the case. Plenty of room to close the lid easily. I will put the charging cord a small plastic bag or fabric pouch so it doesn’t scratch the top of the speaker. Very happy with this purchase … the type of case I was looking for.

I received a A1 (Gen 2) recently as a Father's Day gift from my daughter, and immediately concluded that some type of protective case was mandatory. I reviewed a lot of options including B&O's own offering of a Berluti canvas and leather pouch for $620. In the end, I chose the Khanka case based primarily on the favorable reviews. I find the case perfect for my needs and a excellent fit for the speaker provided, as others have mentioned, the speaker is properly placed in the case. Also, at the offering price, the Khanka case is a great value. Today, I ordered a second A1 (Gen 2) to pair with the first speaker for "full" stereo. After doing that I ordered a second Khanka case as well.

Snug fit - yes, but safe! Well made and I'm glad I've got one to protect my B&O Beosound 1. It fits generation 3 too!
