Very sturdy sheathed cable. The connectors rotate to the position that works best for your particular application. My surround-sound receiver barely fits the miniscule depth of my TV stand/cabinet. Anything at all that sticks too far from the back is a deal-breaker. The sliding glass door would hit the receiver front knobs! So, the 90 degree and rotating features of this EMK fiber optic cable save the day for me, so to speak. The sound is excellent and full. Be sure to get enough length so you're not stressing the connections. I got the 10ft length, with about 3 or 4 feet to spare. This is a reasonably-priced quality cable. I'm totally satisfied.

This cable seems very sturdy and well-built. It has a nice, tough outer jacket. What sets this item apart is the fully rotating ends. Instead of just being at a fixed angle like 90 or 180 degrees, it's free-moving, so you can angle it however you need to. That really made my installation easier as I was reaching down the back of a wall-mounted TV to connect this optical cable. The generous length was also very helpful. I would definitely buy this again for any future installation.

I decided to elevate my 65 inch TV so I could see the scores listed at the bottom of the TV screen. Purchased a great new TV stand that I could do exactly that, raise the TV. Unfortunately, I discovered that the new brackets on the back of the new TV stand did not allow enough room for my Fiber Optic Audio Cable to fit between the TV connection and the bracket. But like the dummy that I am, I tried to force the fiber optic cable in the tight slot requiring me to bend the fiber optic cable at a 90 degree bend. Well, as you might have guessed, the fiber optic cable broke. Which sucked! So, since I really liked the new TV stand I needed to find a new fiber optic cable that came with the 90 degree connection. As I have done many times before, I started researching one on Amazon, as i new I would not find one locally, and found this one. Based on other customers reviews I purchased this fiber optic cable that came manufactured with the 90 degree connection. What really made this fiber optic cable great was that the connection also swiveled 360 degrees too. That made it so much easier to make the connection in the back of the TV, as I really had very little room to work with. I also ordered a new CAT6 WiFi cable too. Both have worked fantastic. I would highly recommend either of these two cables and would buy again. Great quality at a good price.

The product works well!!

I cannot rate quality due to issues on my end. It appears to be a quality component and connects to the PC and AV unit well. Once I resolve some technical issues I will try to update the review. With respect to quality output my expectations are not high. Optical cables have limited bandwidth by their nature and not capable of passing superior sound. This is not the fault of this component it is due to the technology itself. This could be the best made optical cable in the world and still not be able to pass a high quality signal. Update: I have started to use this with my AE-9 sound card. Even though it is not capable of 32 bit sound they are still outperforming my RCA cables. in volume and clarity. Up until know I did not invest in cables, only equipment. I have learned my lesson. Cables Matter. My RCA cables were purchased from AutoZone and are brand new. Still, this optical cable is doing a better job. This unexpected result has caused me to pause my purchase of additional cables until I can do a little research. I like quality sound. My PC is also a media center, and never had any complaints before, but now I know.

Great product

I needed to connect a wall mounted TV to a soundbar and needed a 3 metre long connection, also right angled connector on one end is ideal for asking connection in a restricted space, so all in all fulfilled all my needs.

Excellent product and highly recommended.

I'm new to this optical cable stuff for my Sony HT-S20R 5.1 sound system. At first I was a bit skeptical but it worked it got properly installed and checked the connection with my Samsung smart tv it works very well, I orderd the 3m one which was correct as the distance from tv to the sound system was a bit lengthy overall it satisfied my expectations for for it if you are looking for one
