Excellent, fit is spot on, looks very nice. seems to be a quality jacket. I purchased this for kart racing, and I believe it will be exactly what I wanted. I'm 5'6" & 145 lb..the small fits just right. The chest has mesh areas which should provide much needed ventilation during the summer. This would be a nice summer motorcycle jacket as well, which is its intended purpose.

So, I finally bought two riding jackets to replace the hoodies I used to wear while riding - this one for summer and a HWK long-style one for cooler weather. I tried a HWK mesh jacket in 2XL last year, and had to return it because it was way too small, given that I have a gut that just won't leave the premises... But, it was also not long enough at the waist for this 6'1" guy. Other reviews of this jacket seemed to suggest they have the same sizing problems as the HWKs do (sized for Asians, regardless of their claims to the contrary), so I got this in a 3XL, and it fits very well! I was skeptical of how well air would pass through this material, but it's really very good at that - I can even feel the wind on my back! Which I suppose makes sense, cuz if it can get through the front it's gotta go somewhere, eh? Not so great as far as pocket room or numbers of pockets, but if they had larger pockets that would block more air from flowing though it I guess. I can live with that. Comfortable neck, comfortable all around. My only criticism is that the Velcro cuffs are a bit lame, and to get them tight around my wrists there's a bit of flap overhang. But for the price you just can't beat this jacket. I got the day-glo yellow/green one for better visibility, and I think it looks pretty durn cool. 😎 PS: while it's not the subject of this review, I wanted to mention that I got that long-style HWK 3-season jacket in a 2XL because of other reviews saying they were more true to size than their short waist ones, and it does indeed also fit great, plus it covers about half my back pants pockets when standing, which is great for cooler weather. I love em both.

Got this jacket today, 3/15/20, and unboxed it. Was inside it's own plastic bag with a zipper. Took it out and immediately tried it on. I'm a size Medium (40in) but I went with a X-Large and it fits very well. Plus I wanted enough room to put some clothes underneath and it not be tight. I don't do right clothes because its absolutely uncomfortable but anyways. Went and rode for about 3 hours today with it and I must say it is well worth the money by far. It's about 67° here in North Carolina and cloudy but it has very good ventilation. I'm sure when the temperature peaks at 90-95° it will do just fine with a white t-shirt underneath. It is stiff but that is to be expected with any brand new jacket. I did take out the all the pads because to me it's very uncomfortable in my opinion. Not sure how it will do in a fall but I'm hoping I never have to find that out. Great jacket all around and the quality is impressive. Nothing feels, nor looks cheap about it. But time will tell.

I can't believe this isn't more expensive. The quality is great, styling (subjective) is great, good reflectivity, nice fabric. It's what they call 'asian cordura" whatever that means. But I like the fabric. Wear the jacket everywhere for a week and it'll conform to your shape quickly enough and feel like a second skin. Pockets everywhere, perfect for phone inside, with good protection. You can remove the padding/protective inserts for added versatility if you don't need them. As it claims and expected it's not a warm jacket. It's not meant to be. It's breathable. For cold days I wear a lightweight wind jacket under. This then makes it very warm. For warm days it's great with just a T-shirt under. No idea about water resistance because it doesn't ever rain in California :)

Extremely great and affordable protection ! I wore this jacket for 1st time on a ride yesterday and I was very shocked how cool it was at stops. I live in Southeast Louisiana where it's 98% humidity along with 98f plus temperatures I felt very comfortable.Jacket is a little stiff ,to be expected, due to padding which I feel over time will break in. As far as water resistance I can't give feedback due to not experiencing in rain but the way jacket is designed for warm weather I wouldn't expect it to be . Padding is thick which I feel comfort of being protected.Jacket runs a little small so order a size larger.Does have adjustable velcro to make fine adjustments as needed for comfort. Would purchase again

It saved my ass from a really nasty fall one time

This jacket was exactly what I was looking for. Living in Las Vegas I needed a light, yet durable jacket for hot days. The Alpha jacket fits the bill perfectly. Additionally, the fit is perfect, the design is awesome. The embossed logo is iridescent when struck by light. Low profile, high visibility combined with durable mesh and light padded armor makes this the perfect desert riding jacket for me. Best part, it was one of the cheapest available at the time of purchase.

First thing, I'm 5'10 280 over weight for my height. Normally, I wear XXL t-shirts. But with this I had to order 4X for it to fit comfortably. So I would recommend ordering two sizes bigger so it will fit well. Secondly, the shoulder pads came folded. I am assuming it is due to how it is packed, but I ended up taking them out as they would not go flat. Other than those issues, it's a great jacket. It's comfortable, breaths well and has some water resistant properties. Found this out drving home in thick foggy weather with my motorcycle dripping with morning dew. I would definitely buy another jacket when the one I have now gets old.

Je l'ai porté toutes l'été et je confirme qu'il a les qualités d'un manteau de grande marque, avec un coût beaucoup plus dispendieux. Il est confortable et avec de belles protections j'ajoute que je peux le porter même si il fait très chaud car c'est son avantage principal de pouvoir respirer sans avoir chaud.
