Works great! Just like the name brand but WITHOUT artificial sweeteners like Sorbitol and Mannitol which make my stomach bloat and cramp. This product seems to be low FODMAP so it's perfect for those of us who need to avoid them. The taste is also better than the cherry in the other brand. It's a creamy vanilla flavor that I really like. I can see myself ordering this item again.

This product compares favorably to Gaviscon with Acid Blocker, a product that is available at Amazon (thought I have never found it in a retail store in the US). It has a very pleasant taste, and upon chewing it begins to form a 'foamy' acid blocker which prevents reflux. This is a perfect bedtime antacid, and significantly less expensive than Gaviscon!

PERFECT, Acid Gone is an excellent antacid, easy to chew and swallow and works immediately.

I ordered this when Gaviscon (original flavor) wasn’t available. This option was available and rated well. I figured for the price, I’d order a bottle and give it a try. The tablets are smooth and feel a bit more brittle or dense than the name brand, but are fine. Flavor is pretty similar IMO; not an exact match and not superb, but is Gaviscon isn’t a yummy taste explosion either. This option isn’t bad to me; it is definitely doable - especially for the result. Efficacy seems comparable. I will definitely reorder this product and feel comfortable recommending it.

This is exactly what I need if I get a bit of acid reflux. I keep a bottle in the office, and one next to my bed. Great value.

For years, I've had to deal with food trying to crawl (or perhaps spill) from my esophagus and into my lungs, and thereafter, right out upon my pillow or bed.Not solo if I chew four of them before lying down. Whatever bubbly stuff down there loses its bubbles, the remainder of the product creates a barrier preventing the "taste it once, and that's enough!" food from the repeat cycle.Name brand: Gaviscon extra strength — and although I have consumed other brands' offerings, they are pale versions of the original. Their chewable pills have flavors ranging from "nasty" all the way up to "dumpster fire."I am very happy to report that, flavor-wise, these are the best tablets of their kind — even better than the original.What are you waiting for? Get some now! If you're used to Gaviscon, you won't regret it. The multipacks save you even if you use subscribe-and-save. I don't know what I would do without this product.

As stated in the heading, these are cheaper and more effective (in my experience) than Zantac/ famotidine for acid reflux. Much, much easier to take than chalky calcium based chewables!! Flavor is a pleasant vanilla/ maple and texture, texture WAY less chalky than Tums which occasionally make me gag/ choke. SO happy I found these and decided to try them! I had gallbladder removal surgery in 2015 (at age 27) and was told I would need to take Prilosec for the rest of my life basically. Acid reflux episodes have occasionally been severe. But with supplementation (aloe vera gels, slippery elm, L-glutamine, and peppermint) & dietary changes I have found Prilosec unnecessary for the time being. 🥰 These tablets really help when reflux is kicking up or when I’m having a grownup drink/ not in the mood to behave myself and eat bland.
